This video is brilliant. Seems a total slam dunk that owners of private jets should pay fuel duties. Doesn't it? The answer is annoying.

Tune in tonight to ‘Farage’ on GB News: Where Nigel Farage will bring you the latest headlines… about Nigel Farage. Yes, on his very own show, Nigel Farage can offer his unique insights on… Nigel Farage. Yet the BBC? “Institutionally biased!!!” 🤦‍♂️
'The BBC has been institutionally biased for decades' Nigel Farage adds: 'The BBC should get back to doing news, but just to doing straight news, if it can manage that it has something of a future, if it can't, it has no future at all' Latest trib.al/lVx7Asp

Turning Point for Reform. Matt Goodwin can’t be called an academic anymore, so he’s off to radicalise some young people instead.

Farage accuses the BBC of bias on Europe, immigration, the environment, Gaza, and Trump - to a hall of toadies roaring their approval. And in the blink of an eye, turns to his actual employer "a much perkier GB News," then remembers "although I have to declare an interest." ~AA

Sarah 'TV full of black people' Pochin complains about the BBC... ... I know who's side I'm on.
Six weeks ago, I wrote to Tim Davie, then Director General of the BBC, to ask why a Panorama film crew who came to Runcorn to make a documentary about migrants housed in HMOs ignored the testimony of several residents who had suffered crime and anti-social behaviour from those housed in them. It now appears that the rot runs deeper than I thought, but it serves as a reminder that the editing of President Donald Trump’s words was not an isolated incident. A national broadcaster that survives by effectively taxing viewers has no right to give its own version of reality. If you share my view that this behaviour is utterly reprehensible, you can find instructions here on how to declare that you no longer wish to pay the licence fee: tvlicenceonline.co.uk/form #BBC

Who needs satire when Donald Trump’s White House tries to call out fake news.
.@BBCNews is dying because they are anti-Trump Fake News. Everyone should watch @GBNEWS!
Nigel Farage never owns anything. - 2010, his UKIP manifesto - disowns it It included a compulsory dress code for taxi drivers. Promised £90bn of tax cuts (where have you heard that?) - 2016, Brexit - disowns it Claims Brexit had failed due to the policies of successive Conservative governments. - 2024, Reform UK 'Contract' - disowns it £140bn tax cuts raising threshold of income tax to £20,000, £156bn spending cuts. - 2024, Andrew Tate - disowns it Photographed with Tate, he also calls him an "important voice for men". - 2024, Clacton House - disowns it Lectures Sky correspondent on fact he's bought a house in Clacton, then states the £885,000 constituency home is actually his girlfriend's. - 2025, Elon Musk & Tommy Robinson - disowns it Despite calling Elon Musk a "blooming hero" and trying to attract Tommy Robinson supporters, he distances himself. - 2025, Reform UK Welsh Leader Nathan Gill's Russian Bribes - disowns it Despite knowing Nathan Gill for decades, calling him 'trustworthy' and being his leader he distanced himself from Russian Bribe treachery by his own party member. - 2025, Local Election pledges - disowns it Promise of £90bn tax curs and criticism of Councils for raising Council Tax. It's time to be a big boy, Nigel. Own it.

‘It’s a silly edit… but made in the context of not contemplating that journalists would pretend Trump’s lies were truth.’ James O’Brien says the BBC didn’t need to do any ‘mischievous editing’ to prove Trump encouraged the Capitol riot.

Reform have suspended nine Kent councillors, include five members of the fire authority, which is now “a shambles and a threat to public safety” according to the Fire Brigades Union. But yeah, let them run the whole country.

In the 24 years I’ve been an MP I’ve never known people on social media attack MPs of all persuasions for laying wreaths on Remembrance Sunday until today. Remembrance should be beyond politics. We should in unity respect the sacrifice of our armed forces not indulge in vitriol.

A start up business - with NO employees - having NEVER made profit - has more than £300000 of debt And earlier this year registered a loan from a company registered in the British Virgin Islands - has made a decision to make a payment of £75000 to Jenrick Hmmmm- 🤔🤨🧐
Susanna Reid on Jenrick's £75k donation A company that has no employees, has never made a profit, has more than £300k worth of debt & in January it registered a loan from a company registered in the BVI.. nothing to see here? RJ: This is normal. 👀 #GMB

Again, he was inciting violence. No amount of editing was needed to make that true.
Splicing together 2 separate parts of a Trump speech spoken 54 minutes apart was not a “mistake”. It was a deliberate attempt to make the President look like he was inciting violence. Quite possibly criminal and in violation of all known journalistic ethics. But, hey!

A big danger now for BBC- Samir Shah- a weak Chair- will appoint successors in an attempt to please the right wing papers…while failing to address main problems- lack of clear purpose in BBC News, lack of accountability amongst its many managers below the top two..and fear of Mail/ Telegraph/ Times/ right wing Twitterati.
It’s ironic but predictable that the BBC duo -who tried so hard to please the right wing papers-are removed by the right wing papers.

The BBC has long since been tying itself up in knots appeasing a right wing agenda. Davie and Turness have now quit in the face of a new onslaught from Trump, the Daily Mail and the rest of them. None of this bodes well for a public broadcaster which we need now more than ever.
