Note: The raw gravity programmed into the game is ~0.0035652 wu/tick².
1 world unit = 10 feet, and 1 tick = 1/30s, so simple math gets us to 9.78.
...Yes, Halo: CE internally measures everything in feet. It just does.
Fun fact: The gravity in Halo: Combat Evolved is 9.78 m/s² or ~0.997 g.
The reason the player seems floaty isn't because it's low-grav but because your jump velocity is 6.4 m/s.
In the game's 30 Hz engine, the Master Chief can therefore jump 2.19 meters (without crouching).
SMH @ people complaining about Legends Z-A.
You don't HAVE to Mega Evolve.
I mean, you can easily just play the entire game with only Totodile. You don't even need to evolve it.
Catching Pokémon is anyway a waste of time when you have Totodile AKA the best Pokémon in the game.
I will literally pay @Nintendo ACTUAL money - $69.99 plus tax - to put Star Fox Adventures on their latest console.
This is not a joke. It needs to happen. I must hear "De edo sud tovouk GENERAL SCALES!!!!!!!" in 4K because it simply needs to happen.
Anyway, Double Team is basically a B-tier move in Gen 2. Without Attract or AI manipulation, it's kind of useless outside of huge desperation.
Unlike in Gen 1 where it's an S-tier move thanks to the Badge Boost Glitch! Double Team sadly does not boost any of your stats in Gen 2.
The first one I already knew.
The second one I probably should have known better. However, it all eventually lead to the strategy that I showed in the video (and a nice 58:20 time that I'd like to bring down some day).
Some things were learned from the Nidoking run.
In Gen 2, setting up Double Team to +3 will force Red's Espeon to use Swift instead of Psychic.
HOWEVER, if Psychic has a range to OHKO you, Espeon won't use Swift and will just OHKO you with Psychic, making Double Team useless...
I think Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP) are not bad games.
In fact, I would even say they are alright. Possibly even... decent!
It is a bit annoying that some content from the original Diamond/Pearl games is missing, but I liked playing what we got for the most part.
Oh dear. A Pokémon game with a bunch of stupid event-exclusive FOMO content that should've been made available in the base game but isn't!
...Or in other news, water's wet!
By the way, there is ZERO shame in using PKHeX regardless of what memelord YouTubers think about genning.
In the grand scheme of things, ±1 damage against an AI trainer rarely makes a difference.
But if you are looking for exact, guaranteed damage, you will need to account for this. A lot of damage calculators don't!
Here is the answer: The Normal type SOMETIMES takes more damage.
Thunder Punch is neutral, but each typing is multiplied and divided individually. As such, if your damage is 17, it'll get halved to 8.5 (rounded down to 8) and then doubled to 16.
The Normal type has no halving!
