but then… we also paid 204 yuan (₹2600) toll tax for a 130 km intercity route the cost of the cab was 237 yuan (₹2900) 😅 the actual toll was ₹1300 but they charge double since the driver has to come back

When you visited China, you looked at China like the Chinese. Look out like Indians, with BIG eyes, and you'll find pots and holes 🤓😅😂😂 You must try rural China. The Chinese are very smart. They don't allow Indian tourists to visit non-developed areas. If given a chance, try 20 km away from the scheduled path. Don't get caught. 😂 Stay safe. If risky, don't attempt! 😅😂😂 Maybe you could check out with an authorised Chinese official — just to check for proof of the presence of potholes! 🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️⚫🤣🤣

There are people still living in caves in China young padawan. An estimated 30 to 40 million people, mainly in provinces like Shaanxi, Shanxi, and Henan, who live in homes called yaodongs

china has incredible infrastructure, especially in tier 1 cities. you’ll get a better sense of the country if you visit some other tiers too.

Haven’t seen a single public assembly either. Or a church service. Or read a newspaper with uncensored articles. Or been able to get on the unfiltered internet. Or heard a single criticism of the government. Weird.

They are decades ahead of us. Of course, you can’t question the government there. We traded economic freedom for political freedom

Take a car and drive 30 minutes outside the city :)

You'd hope not. Their goal is maximum employment at expense of all else, and it's all brand new. (Not criticizing this approach. But there better not be simple infrastructure issues lol)

Will they send their contractors here under a scheme and they may charge but quality of work would be good? Or once their contractors and engineers come here, they would also learn to pocket bribe and gobble up huge money, siphoning off funds, here?

Hard pill to swallow, but China’s tier-3 cities are better than India’s tier-1 cities.

Yeah, Hitler had great roads and the trains ran on time, so I’ve heard.

How do they have such good roads?
Replying to @Somya_Crazy
They've completely removed the freedom of the road to remove your axel. Truly oppressive.
