PM Mark Carney has quietly lowered Canada's retaliatory tariffs to nearly zero. Sorry Mark, but it is too little too late. At Trump and Carney's meeting, a reporter asked if there was anything Canada could do to make the US remove its tariffs, and Trump flatly said, "No."
I believe Trump's plan is to make Canada prove it is a sovereign nation capable of standing on its own without special deals from the US. If they can't, then statehood will be their only option.

Today, Trump signs an Executive Order that will force Big Pharma to match US drug prices to the lowest price they sell around the world. For decades, Big Pharma has been changing US customers higher prices than the rest of the world under the idea that only we have to pay for the research and development of these drugs.
The left has been calling out this unfairness forever. It will be interesting to see if they actually live up to their words or if they will go against it to appease their TDS.

So we have a new pope. Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost from Chicago is now Pope Leo XIV. He is the first American Pope and unfortunately shows signs of being woke when it comes to open borders. He does have a Republican voting history and was a chemistry and math major.
