This is great. If you’re going to live in an apartment you still need outdoor space as a healthy human. This is as good as it gets if you aren’t going down to ground level. I like it.

I don’t like this. Anyone can look with binoculars and see what you’re doing. Hate the chicken coop style living

China is now building small, affordable homes, that you can buy at Walmarts in the USA.

I think this makes apartment living much more wonderful for many. It might not be for everyone but many usually want some outdoorspace to not feel couped up.

I hate small, unusable balconies. Huge balconies should be standard.

Makes complete sense. What’s the point of living in a pigeon hole / prison with windows.

Maybe, just maybe, it's not a trend, but a reflection of need for a sense of freedom.

China turning balconies into luxury lifestyle spaces is wild 🔥 From sky gardens to mini living rooms, this trend is about to take over worldwide. Would you love a balcony like this in your home?

all fake. more than half of China is a 3rd world the other half is made out of "tofu" construction. most of their bridges last about a mere 5 years.

China’s new “balcony obsession” is fascinating—it’s not just design, it’s lifestyle. Big balconies = more light, air, urban gardening, social space. A subtle shift from concrete boxes to breathable homes. 🌱☀️

Sometimes a few square meters of open space can do more for human well-being than anything indoors. Yet if balconies remind us of soil and plants, maybe the truth is that humans are meant to stay closer to the earth itself.
