Palmer’s application, which included a short clip of him performing the celebration, was approved by the United Kingdom’s government Intellectual Property Office on Friday, The Athletic can reveal.
In addition to the celebration trademark, Palmer has also had his applications to trademark his name ‘Cole Palmer’ and a figurative trademark for his facial image (a photographic portrait) approved.
He’s also issued a separate figurative application, that was filed on Thursday, for his cold cross arm symbol with the text ‘CP’, as well as the word ‘Cole.’
