The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–2003) is a triumph of cinematic magic. Peter Jackson crafted a world so immersive that Middle-earth feels alive, with landscapes, battles, and characters that continue to awe decades later.
Name a trilogy in which all the movies are great.

Not a trilogy but with Harry Potter a super immersive world was brought to screen and they couldn't have been done better. Nothing like LOTR but my second favorite.

one of the few movies that we last forever

Not as great as the books but oh lord, what a great adaptation. Crazy that these films would suck if made nowadays since movie writers think they could do better than Tolkien.

I've watched Trilogies but Lord of The Rings is the gold 🥇🥇

Agreed. The only other one that comes to mind is Sergio Leone's The Man With No Name trilogy.

There was a time when I wondered if I saw these too many times. Impossible! I long to see them again 🙏♥️

Love love this story

its even better when you watch the appendices and grow to appreciate how many of the scenes were made. in car parks next to running trains to mountain sides & middle of nowhere.

The great news: the best trilogy ever! The bad news is: no trilogy can ever match it

Absolute masterpiece of cinema, blending the best of cgi and practical effects. I watched the extended versions at the cinema last year and they are exceptional.

These were released at the perfect time. Before CGI and AI and everything else became too dominant in cinema. It’s realistic. The actors were immersed and you can feel the realism. As long as I’ve remembered, I’ve always wanted to live in the Shire or be a soldier of Gondor/Rohan
