Thinking today of all the people (Arab, Dinka, Nuer, Shaluuk, Choli,Misseriya, Fur, etc. etc.) of that troubled country.
So sad for this country, where I lived briefly many years ago.

Anyone posting about the dreadful atrocities in Sudan purely to make some kind of point about other issues, and not because they actually care about the people that have been killed and injured there, is a cunt.

Can someone explain to me how so many people that clearly identify themselves as pro Palestinian are supporting a candidate that is quite happy to yadda yadda over the mass murder of Palestinian refugees in Syria.
I genuinely don't understand it.

I come from a long line of Dublin & Leinster Protestants.
I aspire to a United Ireland.
Not one that is characterised as a victory of 'Irish' Catholics over 'foreign' Protestants.
Rather a unity of all people that love this island, whatever their faith.
You know how fucked up US politics (and Twitter) is when my Twitter feed is clogged with US accounts saying that there were both millions of people and virtually no one at today's "No Kings" rallies.
