Having used C# professionally for over 10 years now, I'm really surprised how little I see it in the zeitgeist.

You鈥檒l love it! C# is awesome. I recommend VS Code with the C# Dev Kit extension if you鈥檙e not on Windows (otherwise use Visual Studio). JetBrains Rider is also solid. Don鈥檛 be turned off by XMLs and package management, modern stuff in the .NET ecosystem (e.g., dotnet cli) make this a very smooth experience. Also, use .NET 8 馃檪 cc @shanselman @amantinband @nickchapsas @lord_bodom

Cool. Be interesting to see how you deal with some things. I only recently started back with C# when I joined Microsoft, after an 8 year haitus.

Two words: runtime reflection! With inheritance and reflection you can do anything. Anything! And not going to be an unmanageable mess at all!

Once you go .Net Stack, you never go back

Great choice. It's a language that deserves to be talked about more often.
