Raden on the Inquiry announcement - The way that @UKLabour have been doing the media rounds today, after announcing the LONG overdue inquiry into the #Pakistanigroominggangs scandal, is nothing short of disgraceful and nauseating. Many of us are old enough but not yet sufficiently senile to recall some of these same fruitcakes, including many Tories, calling people "far right & racist" for demanding transparency and accountability into this issue which was clearly required after the findings of the Jay Inquiry and claims made by various complainants both before and after that had been published. Turning to the inquiry itself, it must be chaired & composed of people who are suitably qualified to hear the testimonies of the complainants and ultimately decide on what needs to be done. What we do not need are any shenanigans or distractions about the composition of the group along EM ancestry, gender or religious lines. Hopefully this will help produce something meaningful and avoid the theatrical distraction currently playing out in the Wuhanvirus Inquiry or replicate the whitewash of the Hutton Inquiry, called in the aftermath of the tragic death of Dr David Kelly. Additionally, the terms of reference should be broad to ensure that issues can be dealt with as fully and sensitively as possible, so we can see 1) What happened, 2) How it was allowed to happen & 3) How the accused and anyone complicit in concealing their crimes managed to do so in a country which prides itself on its centuries long tradition of justice, without fear or favour, which it has exported around the world. Much thanks must go to people like @MaggieOliverUK who kept the flame flickering and refused to give up, with goodness knows what impact it had on her career, personal safety and everything else, to help ensure that these complainants weren't marginalised and ignored as they had been for years apparently due to their skin colour, with the same traits seemingly helping the accused evade justice for these crimes. Special thanks must also go to @elonmusk for getting behind this campaign and ensuring that the issue was not smothered or suppressed as would probably have happened under the previous regime on platforms such as this. Finally and most importantly to the complainants, this is one of the most disgraceful chapters in British history and as a nation we FAILED you. Anything that is now said will sound hollow and inane & can do little to bring back the years of your lives which have been taken away. If that wasn't bad enough, the way you have been stigmatised, denigrated and ignored is a collective burden that the nation will have to carry forever. Here's to hoping that a national inquiry will lead to some small level of accountability for you, so that we can at least ensure such reprehensible and inexpiable acts never happen to any British child or person EVER again.
With the way Liverpool are going, they may well replicate the mediocre @premierleague seasons both Blackburn and Leeds had after winning the title in the 1990s. Truly remarkable drop off, title defence (realistically) done and dusted by early November - a Slot lacking credit to pay out 🤔🤔
This is ridiculous 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ They are doing the job that the Trump administration campaigned and got elected on. Talk about the end days of democracy......

About as credible as the @BBC
We strongly reject claims circulated by the Afghan side regarding today’s incident at the Pak-Afghan border at Chaman. Firing was initiated from the Afghan side, to which our security forces responded immediately in a measured and responsible manner.
The self vaunted Khalid of @TalkTV rings up @NickFerrariLBC and claims he could have sorted the issues out with the Haifa-Villa game, police ring him to resolve (local) issues as they did during the '22 Leicester riots and that he was prepared to go and talk to any antagonists, ALL alone. Am sure the likes of @JuliaHB1 and @iancollinsuk would give some much needed context to his lofty claims 🤔🤔 Pity James Whale isn't with us any longer!

A disgraceful episode in history, but post ignores 2 very salient things and has unsurprisingly turned off replies - 1 This was the unfortunate consequence of 2 Sikh bodyguards killing the then Indian PM, Indira Gandhi, which even the @BBC took in as rolling news. 2 Many, many Indians ie mainly Hindus assisted Sikh people and helped protect them from the mobs. If we're going to have good faith discussions, it is incumbent on people to be a little more honest and transparent
5 November 1984 - Approximately 15,000 to 30,000 Sikhs are believed to have been massacred across India in six days since systematic mob violence against Sikhs began on the 31 October 1984. Widely reported as anti Sikh riots when it was actually targeted Genocide #NeverForget1984

Perhaps Grok can teach you how to use 'nor' & the difference between 'it's' and 'its'. Is it possible to teach this far left lunatic some simple English language @grok? 🤔 🤔
I’m just about at the end of my patience of X It’s neither neutral or it’s Grok app factual. It’s largely a tool for far right opinions. What a sad end to the intelligent world that Twitter once inhabited

Another day, another "error" by a Minister from an administration that came into office promising to be beyond sleaze & all concomitant things. "This defence" would patently NOT stack up for any normal person, would it @BarbaraRich_law?
‘So, end of story, they hope.’ Labour’s Lisa Nandy has admitted to unknowingly breaching ministerial code, a story Keir Starmer seems to believe... for now.

Right today's wrestling teaser, Mr Loha @tds122. What was Rick Rude's first televised IC title defence after winning the championship from the Ultimate Warrior at WM5, airing a full month after it actually took place?? @WG_RumblePants @A_CricketBadger @beastieboy07

So Mamdani wins the NY mayoral contest. What difference will it make to most of us save for some Americans, some journalists & engagement farmers? You'd think this guy had just won the US Presidency or become our PM, the way people are carrying on!! How desperate are the (global) left to be thinking this is some seismic world event?? We've had the likes of Khan & Humza here for years 🤷🏻‍♂️
A thought provoking piece as to possible reasons for the recent targeting of Indian descent people, especially Hindus, both in the real world and online. If you have any interest in those things, give this a read
Why Have American Evangelical and Pentecostal Christians Decided to Attack Hindus? It begins with a simple truth: Envy: Experiencing the sheer scale and depth of Hindu thought an inquiring mind is left with a simple question Do they have anything that Hindus want? No philosophy, no ritual, no spiritual depth that would add to the vast inheritance of the Hindu civilisation. For all their preaching, they cannot comprehend a culture that did not begin in sin and does not end in salvation. Hindus do not need intermediaries, saviours, or a church to speak for them — Why would Hindus Trade a direct relationship with divinity to be a third party?. That autonomy unsettles those who built their faith on dependency. Their envy is not just theological — it is civilisational. Once, Jerusalem, Constantinople, Rome, Paris, and London were the radiant capitals of Christendom. Each, in turn, fell — spiritually hollowed out by materialism, schism, or secularism. The churches stand, but their pews are emptier with each passing year; who even says Christendom these day? Contrast that just with Ayodhya, where the Ram Mandir soars across the horizon — not from conquest, but from collective memory and dharma still burning. The sight of it — a civilisation still present despite centuries of iconoclasm — is unbearable to those whose own traditions have faded into cultural exhaustion. And in America itself, the last flicker of Christendom now witness a confident, educated Hindu diaspora — flourishing without proselytising. It is living proof that a civilisation can thrive without seeking dominion over the Earth. The other side of the coin is: A New Zeal. Throughout Christian history, Christian energy has always needed an adversary. For Politics, Power or Prestige - from the Early Pagans in Europe, the natives in the Americas, Hindus of India and beyond. For the most part the early meetings have been relatively peaceful and harmonious but there is always a but. From the Byzantines defending against the Rashidun Caliphate, The Seven Crusades, the Balkan Kingdoms/Italian city-states confronting the Ottomans, to King John Sobieski’s Winged Hussars charging at Vienna — every era has found its theatre of holy struggle. Today, that same spirit has shifted to a new frontier — the current interpretation of Christianity - American. It wages stealth a military crusade supplying arms to Christian militias around the world but a cultural one — fought through propaganda, funding networks, missionary operations, and media narratives. The aim is the same: to subdue and convert the last unconquered civilisational space. But there’s a perennial problem, the same wall or last frontier refuses to be assimilated. Hindus have met the previous zeal with both swords and ideas. And so the envy grows, how to undo a civilisation that has survived invasions, colonisation, and yet with each year passing the wall grows a little higher and the frontier gets tougher. #ReflectionsOnDharma #SacredContinuity #Time #LivingTraditions #CivilisationalDialogue #EnduringFaith #SharedHumanJourney #CulturalUnderstanding #Dharma

💭 Raden's thoughts for the day 💭 3/11/25 Re - Rachel Reeves Given the halfwit below is now looking for new ways to rob, oops tax people, why doesn't she just direct all illegal migrants currently kept in hotels at our expense, to rob everyone, physically or digitally? It would be gainful employment for them and expedite the sheer theft that this government is manifestly trying to enact on UK people in order to subsidise their obsessive & unrealistic expenditure fantasies. 2029 can't come soon enough to get rid of this "phoney government". It remains unclear why any admissions team let her into @UniofOxford 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ Perhaps there have been DEI practices operating there all these years and I just didn't see them 🤔 Coming back to this government, as bad as the Tories were, who genuinely thought that this motley crew, that have never run a private business between them, would or could be any better? Broken, or imminently about to break, many of their manifesto promises, perhaps we should now grant future governments electoral licences which we can revoke if enough of us feel they are not doing their job properly. Imagine the impact that would have : the deceased & any contemporary Chartists would ALL be celebrating and people would get real accountability with governments (desperately) striving to satisfy and appease the electorate. That said, if such a thing really happened, some Ministers might still claim they didn't know a licence system was actually in operation!! Some people say you get the government you deserve. On behalf of most people in the UK - what have we EVER done to deserve this clique?

So the Indian women's cricket team apparently won their World Cup (I don't watch it nor do I watch the 100) so congratulations to them. Wonder if the @guardian & similar outlets will talk about the lack of black or white players in the team? Ditto for other DEI/woke outlets about the lack of Muslim players therein 🤔🤔

The replies to Savio's post are very enlightening - if he as a X shares his experience then it must be because he's on the BJP payroll even though he has said the same thing for years. On the contrary anyone suggesting there is persecution is accepted at face value with NO questions asked about "any payroll" or subsidising parties. It's almost as if there is an agenda and narrative at play contrary to some previous studies/research suggesting there isn't (widespread) persecution of religious minorities 🤔🤔 (Still no comma Saturday)
Dr Callum: I am an Indian Christian. Neither is my family nor I persecuted in our motherland. India is our mother. So please refrain from lies. You do know scripture states ‘Devil is the father of lies’. And we also know what the Demons disguised as Angel of Light do; come to India to demonise Hindus, convert them by force and allurement. It is only right on our parts as Indians to exorcise them and state boldly ‘Get Behind Me Satan’.

Just watching some old clips from 2011 when HHH "became COO". If this clown was somehow deposed tomorrow and took Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins with him, would the product be any worse off? #InstantImprovements @Kephfas @TheHonoraryZeus @FSUJ0hn @Andy_Blak_

So my return to X is met with my old mate @Iromg being accused of being racist and sending out a post on his social media account suggesting that he has a problem with non-white people. As a 3rd generation non-white immigrant I have known MG for over two decades in various capacities. At no stage in all these years, including when we have been out and he has been testing his well-known threshold for alcohol to the limit, has MG even remotely said anything which suggests that he is one of those people who discriminates against others based on their skin colour or ethnicity. Heck the man has even recorded private videos for my children's birthdays and other things for me!! MG may indeed have strong opinions on illegal immigration, as do many of us, with ancestors that made great sacrifices to ensure legal status for themselves and their descendants but to extrapolate this and claim that on the back of one hacked post that this man is racist, is wide of the mark. Racism, whether subtle or overt is normally very easy to spot and I find it inconceivable that someone I have known and regularly talk to, both has or could manage to conceal such traits in over two decades of friendship. Doubtless his detractors and others who don't like him, will try to use this episode as a way of getting him cancelled, even though he has suggested that his social media accounts were hacked. We can only share personal experiences in such matters and I can honestly say that I'm yet to be asked by MG to put on any talcum powder or conceal my colour whenever we meet up and go out for a drink, probably because this man may be many things but racist is definitely NOT ONE OF THEM.

For any critics of Amorim, the team clearly looked jaded by the long European adventure in midweek. Fernandes clearly hasn't recovered from his altitude sickness at Grimsby.

Aside from the underwhelming spectacle that is Amorim, the other thing that will escape attention is the additional mess that Ineos under Twatcliffe have created. Remember, THEIR priority signings last summer were Ugarte and Zirkzee 🤦🏻‍♂️
