Genuine advice for patriotic Americans of Indian or Jewish descent: Chill out about the ethnocentric stuff. The worst PR you can get, the stuff that all-but-guarantees interethnic resentment, is the grievance mongering, alternatively gloating, and generally, fixation on your ethnic group. For example on the grievance side, the ADL has done far more to advance anti-semitism than any Gazapoaster, JQer etc. Jewish paranoia and neuroticism is a guaranteed self-fulfilling prophecy and at the heart of the "cries out in pain as he strikes you" criticism. It's fine feel worried, but don't involve the rest of us in your neuroses. On the gloating side, special celebrations of niche, non-American religious festivals or rites is tone deaf at a time when Americans are struggling and feel like nobody goes to bat for them.
