The reason government programs are so inefficient is that, unlike a commercial company, the feedback loop for improvement is broken, because they have a state-mandated monopoly and can’t go out of business if customers are unhappy.
No matter how bad the service is at your DMV (sorry to pick on DMVs), you still have to use your DMV, because it’s a monopoly.

Somalian restaurant in Minneapolis took $12 million in federal child meal payments
They said they were feeding 4,000-6,000 kids a day. They only averaged 40 people during 6 weeks
They created fake names and invoices, Minneapolis Department of Education was aware and did nothing
“The FBI installed a surveillance camera overlooking this building just off Lake Street in Minneapolis. At the time, it was Safari Restaurant, which overall took in $12 million in federal child meal payments — Safari claimed to feed 4,000 to 6,000 kids a day. Its invoices and meal counts shown to the jury alongside the video.
An FBI agent testifying that an average of 40 people came and went during the six weeks it was surveilled. The FBI set up a total of 12 cameras at sites claiming to serve extraordinary numbers of meals.
Another was at a deli in Saint Paul, also registered by defendant Salim Sayyed, which claimed 1,800 meals per day. The video shown to the jury showed an average of 23 people a day coming and going. The jury was shown dozens of invoices, meal counts, and emails seized from Feeding Our Future's headquarters in Saint Anthony.
Some showed links to websites that randomly generated names and ages to create rosters of children who were served meals.
— And the kicker? Minnesota's own Department of Education had red flags. Massive spikes in reimbursement requests, impossible, impossible meal counts, and they still rubber-stamped the paperwork. Now, this new audit proves what everyone with a brain has been saying for years, incompetence starts at the top.

ICE law enforcement did NOT target a daycare and were only at this location because the female illegal alien fled inside.
Here is the real story:
Officers attempted to conduct a targeted traffic stop of this female illegal alien from Colombia.
Officers attempted to pull over this vehicle, which was registered to a female illegal alien, with sirens and emergency lights, but the male driver refused to pull the vehicle over.
Law enforcement pursued the vehicle before the assailant sped into a shopping plaza where he and the female passenger fled the vehicle. They ran into a daycare and attempted to barricade themselves inside the daycare—recklessly endangering the children inside.
The illegal alien female was arrested inside a vestibule, not in the school.
Upon arrest, she lied about her identity.
The vehicle is registered to in her name, though she claims that she didn’t know the man who was driving her car and just picked him up from a bus stop.
Facts including criminality and information on the male assailant are forthcoming and we will update the public with more information as soon as it becomes available.

There’s a lot in Lindsey Halligan’s new filing, but if I had to single out one thing, it would be the handwritten note below, discovered earlier this year by Kash Patel in a burn bag inside a sealed, unused SCIF at FBI headquarters (Room 9582).
This note proves beyond any doubt that James Comey knew from the very beginning that the entire Russia collusion narrative was a Hillary Clinton campaign hoax. In his own handwriting, on his own notepad, he acknowledges the “HRC plan to tie Trump.”
The date, September 26, 2016, is especially damning, coming just days after he received the official referral outlining Clinton’s plot. Even if one were to accept, for argument’s sake, that Comey initially believed an investigation into Trump was warranted, this revelation should have ended it immediately. But instead, he escalated.
He belongs in prison for life for this alone, now conclusively proven by his own note.

As @mike_frags has noted, Boasberg’s gag order is a blatant violation of federal law (2 U.S.C. 6228), which explicitly bans gag orders on collection of Senate data and communications.
The law requires Senate notification to give the Senate an opportunity to move to quash any subpoena on separation of powers grounds, and it also REQUIRES federal courts to quash any subpoenas as a result of Senate opposition. Boasberg issued the illegal gag order precisely to prevent the Senate from going to court to vindicate its rights.
Boasberg was certainly aware of this statute and deliberately violated it anyway.
Jeb Boasberg's excessive use of nondisclosure orders is so egregious that 3 Dem appellate judges on the DC court recently reversed his sweeping order that had allowed the DOJ to attach an NDO to ANY subpoena in an unspecified criminal investigation run by Matthew Graves in 2023-2024. (Case is largely under seal so not sure who he was targeting.)
Graves attached Boasberg's "omnibus" NDO order to an X subpoena on two unknown accounts. (At this point, Jack Smith, thanks to Beryl Howell, had already obtained all of the president's Twitter data along with a one-year NDO.)
X challenged the NDO as it had in the president's case, claiming Boasberg violated the Stored Communications Act which requires a JUDGE, not a prosecutor, to determine whether one of the 5 factors has been met to justify an NDO.
I mean THIS IS NUTS but really gets to the heart of the DC court's rubber-stamping of whatever the Biden DOJ wanted.
Graves DID NOT EVEN PRESENT A SUBPOENA to the mag judge who first handled the matter. (Boasberg upheld the mag judge in his omnibus order allowing NDOs on all subpoenas.)
