Manufacturing ain’t all that man those jobs died for a reason but also they cozied up with the presidents to send jobs overseas in exchange for cheaper goods and services plus all jobs were going corporate and stop acting like you had a crystal ball and knew Amazon or Ai was here
we can blame all of this on chasing a services based economy post-industrial fantasy. it's very simple.

>killing off manufacturing forces the middle class to buy college degrees and commit to a life of debt
>white collar workers upset that they will be replaced by AI
>no one knows how to do anything hard anymore
>doing hard stuff is really all that ever mattered
>china focused on hard stuff and now we all see the value in that pursuit
>reindustrialize and become hyper industrial multiplanetary expanded consciousness type I civilization
