Netflix provided the option to stay home. The concession stand prices provided the reason.

For those prices it should come with hand relief at the very least

The last time I took my grandkids to the movie it cost me $120. I was like never again. And plus it was Mario Kart.

And the conditions of those mega theaters don’t help either. They bit off way more than they could chew and now can’t remodel or maintain with minimal staff.

Not to mention many are turned off by Hollywood injecting politics into everything. They are forcing potential customers to pick a side. Terrible business sense.

For real. I used to enjoy going to the theaters but the “airport prices” they charge for popcorn, 🌭,🥤…ran me off. Last movie I watched with my 2 kids was a nightmare. Movie was great, but…🤦‍♀️

Exactly. Theaters priced themselves out. Attendance dropped nearly 30% since 2019, while streaming subscriptions tripled. People didn’t stop loving movies. They stopped paying absurd prices for basic snacks and seats.

Both are incorrect. Bad movies killed movie theaters.
