The notion Zionists are trying to push with all their might, that Zionism is inextricably intertwined with Judaism and so Zionism is a protected class & you cannot criticize the concept without running afoul of antidiscrimination law is not only historically illiterate but logically absurd. The concept of a protected group is predicated on the notion that people shouldn’t be judged for immutable characteristics that aren’t their choice. A belief system is not an immutable characteristic. Religion is arguably not properly included in the definition for that reason, but there’s a decent justification for including it which is that religion is for many merely cultural, a product of their upbringing. So judging someone for being Muslim is bad; judging someone who thinks it’s fine to subjugate women in the name of Islam is more than reasonable. Likewise, judging someone for being Jewish is bad; judging someone who thinks it’s ok to kick other people off their land, murder them for it, and occupy those they cannot kill or expel in the name of Judaism is more than reasonable
YouTube (and probably other occupied platforms as well) claims that Zionists are 'a protected group'. What in Zionism, precisely, makes its members a protected group? What other political ideology or organization gets a protected group status?
Zionism is not an identity; it is a political doctrine, that's all.
So why aren't Republicans or Democrats, or communists, a protected group? How are they different from Zionists?
