Year after year, they organise Ḥajj and ʿUmrah with remarkable efficiency for millions upon millions of pilgrims from all corners of the world. They provide outstanding care and facilities for the Guests of the Most Merciful, making their pilgrimage easier and more accessible than ever before. Of course, perfection belongs to none but Allāh alone. And I firmly believe that if the Haramain were not under the care and supervision of the Saudi state, acts of polytheism and religious innovation would likely resurface and be practiced openly, and there would be great disorganisation and disorder. May Allāh reward them generously and bless their efforts in serving His Sacred House and the pilgrims.
