I do that whenever it's offered. It is nice knowing they can't steal your funds by keeping a record of your CC number.

Paying with an iphone tap of Apple Pay is almost zero friction, and compared to that swiping seems primitive. Lighting is better but not because of UX.

Try paying with Dash it makes lightning feel like a credit card.

Mind share which website you use? I have a strong feeling it's not what you described.

Something that Bitcoin would face stiff resistance in India from UPI. A far better UX than lightning. Of course we don't talk about how it's smooth UX towards CBDCs 🤫

100%. Trying to change all my service providers to ones that accept ln. Credit card sucks!

I tap to the card to the reader, one second later it's done. How is that primitive?

Not compared against Apple Pay. Lowest payment friction ever.

Logging into Geyser via LN with my Phoenix wallet feels the same. I don't want 1000 passwords, I want to use my cryptographically secured wallet to login to everything, thanks.

So why does no one do it?

Whilst true, the issue is offline payments for example or users/establishments that only accept cash. I travel a lot (in central America ATM) and for example in Germany you had to pay with cash at many restaurants (this is Berlin) or clubs/bars. Same goes for Nicaragua/Morocco.
