Indie Developer building side projects

This is what sucks about app stores or using any controlled environment like this for your apps or marketing strategies. I'm sure this is rare but another good reason for me to stick to web apps.
At the end of October, my Apple Dev account that I’ve had for almost a decade is being terminated. I will be losing $10,000+ MRR because I released an app that had Nano Banana + my App Name in the title. Why? Red Flags that never leave your account + Google Is An Apple Partner
Vibe coding is starting to feel like the last mile issue in logistics All the AI tools and prompting strategies get you 90% there but at some point, you just have to get your hands dirty to get the job done

Do you love budgeting but your spouse hates it? I'm working on a new idea and curious if others out there still wrestling with this. Would love to hear any thoughts... financial-clarity.vercel.app…
Sometimes my vibe coding goes off the rails. How many features\branches can I create in a day 🤦‍♂️
My current AI tech stack flow that lets me iterate on side projects all from my phone. Vercel Neon integration with vercel (for database) Cursor agent ( on web) ChatGPT Now I start with ChatGPT to discuss feature idea then ask for prompt I copy prompt and paste into cursor agent in browser and fire away. Vercel detects changes from GitHub repo and auto builds preview branch with neon creating database branch as well. A few minutes later I have a preview branch using a database branch. I'm able to test in full isolation. Once good I merge into main and vercel auto pushes to prod.

Teaching my friends how to vibe code feels like a bank teller teaching customers how to use the ATM. Then they used it without me… cool, cool, cool. Congrats... (insert nervous laughter)

Really getting into building my new app - Nexo. A personal relationship manager. The core goal is to help me stay stay better connected to my friends and family. I do this by giving me a place to help more easily manage and remember important details and events about my friends. Think everything from birthdays\anniversaries but also random parties, get together, friends kids birthday, or any other reason to help me connect with people I care about. Would love to get a group of 10-15 beta testers to help me flesh out this idea. Signup here and I'll send you the beta link. nexoprm.com/

Vibe coding feels amazing. Fire up an agent on my phone, hack on a feature, test, tweak. Looks fine. Then I check the code - why does every room in my house have a kitchen now? Still not sure if this is the future of software or just an expensive mess building up.

Then we follow up monthly to help you meet that goal. I can imagine some other side benefits of the community but thats the gist of it now. Any thoughts?

Let me know if any of this sounds interesting to anyone... When you join the group you get an initial interview with a senior engineer to help evaluate your current skill set and come up with a plan to help you grow from wherever you are.

I'm thinking about starting a online community for developers. I've always like the idea of these communities (in person or virtual) but never quite found one that works for me. Description: Accountability type community for engineers wanting to level up Price: $50-100/Month
Does anyone ever click the install option that pops up in browsers for a website\webapp? My gut is to stick to building a web app version (PWA) for easy updates and distribution but you might not get full benefits if you don't install as a app on your machine.
Cnotes Update. Just added toolbar options. I don't need this since I know Markdown but I could see how this educates new users. If you are interested in trying the beta as I work through these features please sign up at buff.ly/3RKnyKb
Question for light theme people out there? I'm working on my note taking app and trying to support both themes but wondering if its worth it. I personally prefer dark and seems a more common developer preference. Would you still use software that didn't support a light theme?
What could an engineered focused note taking software look like? Shortcuts, dark theme, encryption? What else do you need?
I’m working on a note taking app focused around developers and engineers. That seem appealing to anyone?
I've been wanting to really join the indie dev movement for awhile and finally going all in on cnotes.dev. A simple cross platform notes app built in the browser (as PWA) with a few nifty tools. Will post more as I release updates.
Notes. Everyone takes them right? So many tools out there but I can't fall in love with any of them. I just want a simple cross platform distraction free place to take a quick note. Anyone else have this problem and looking for something better?
