This movie is a big ol comic book and it is not apologizing for it.

The thing that really stands out about the Superman movie is how new it feels. That’s hard to say for a superhero movie after the last (almost) two decades but it feels that way. Almost like the way you felt when you watched Spider-Man back in 2002.
