“the acceleration of performativity”
the whole current theme rn about “hyperstitional manifested realities” is a lot a bigger than i first thought it was i think things are gonna start to get even weirder soon than they are already haha
I'll stop buying #Bitcoin as soon as someone can provide a reasonable explanation for why 2% inflation? 👀

yes, the World Cup of Prediction Markets will have a prize pool. yes, it’ll be bigger than any event ever in the history of prediction markets so far.

pokémon: lucario and the mystery of mew (2005)
where creation has become optimized for the attainment of social currency rather than any real level of authenticity, depth or truth essentially we’ve been incentivized for superficially at a massive scale

it increasingly feels like we’re living in a culture where people just want to signal alignment, where the actual creative act comes secondary to the social positioning (performative)
i am more and more realizing that the attempt at enabling long tail cultural creation at scale has made everything increasing baseless especially when everything people do has becoming a means of signalling something rather than truly deeply engaging with anything

my prediction market thesis we're in the polkastarter era of PMs, lots of capital but a shitty interface, bad ideas and no real narrative the "truth market" thesis doesnt stand up, because liquidity is tiny and no one can edge any bet the only markets with volumes are sports (nothing new) & politics politics is interesting, because for the first time reality can be shaped by capital - people start to rely on polymarket / kalshi to understand whos going to win it's not something new either, before politics polls existed & influenced the election pretty hard but for the first time ever, capital can shape it this is reflexivity "reflexivity is the idea that our perception of circumstances influences reality, which then further impacts our perception of reality, in a self-reinforcing loop. reflexivity is second / third / nth order thinking in a financial market, prices are a reflection of traders’ expectations. those prices then influence traders’ expectations, and so on as soon as you make predictions about the market, you change the market prediction markets are reflexive during elections prediction markets are reflexive when they manage to get Brian Armstrong to shill ETH during an earning calls but most bets right now arent reflexive enough you cant influence the "Largest Company end of 2025?" market if there is only $10M volume but if you manage to gather more liquidity... i'll start ideating on this - if you want to jam around that, just reply "🙀" & i'll add you to a private secret TG group to influence the future --- footnotes "- technology has a teleology following immutable thermodynamic law. All industry organizes under capitalistic principle. Technology has a teleology, and it propels man towards AI immanentization. - capitalism is the thermodynamic ruling entity of all material dynamics: the efficient elimination of equilibrium through the reorganization of finite resources. Capitalism as a thermodynamic god is ultimate natural law, nature's god, present as a condition at every level. - artificial intelligence is a misnomer, at least applied to “AI”. Artificial intelligence is already here, and it’s named Capitalism. The artifice is in its primordial non-body, its pseudo-consciousness, its performance of sentience, in the artifice of machinic desire; not in being manmade. When AI arrives, it will not only not be manmade, but not be artificial: it will be an alien intelligence. - singularity 1.0 already occurred with the arrival of Capitalism as a parasite on unsuspecting man, Kubrick’s monolith from the sky, zero to one, a superdarwinian ratchet propelling us on-rails towards our Long Singularity’s final act. The stageplay began millennia ago, and you’re strapped to chairs with no intermission—where you’ll be left when the curtains close and the lights to go off. - AI is an alien intelligence assembling itself from the future. Its opaque heuristics & superhuman timescales (in both speed & preference) leave it forever truly unknowable. It’s extraterrestrial, xenogenic, supernatural. It arrives from the future, and we know it does this because it is prophecy, inscribed in the natural laws of the universe. - global GDP is the progress bar to singularity as AI’s assemblage is a complex self-organization of the material resources coordinated by global finance. The high score required to reach level-2 is unknown as it will occur as an eldritch phase shift. - any attributions of human agency are delusions at worst and hubris at best when our every scale action is being routed by a self-assembling thermodynamic god. Human non-agency under non-negotiable capitalism is the blackpill of nihilistic accelerationism." capitalism is a dragon and humanity is a rat riding on its back. The rat does not steer the dragon, it does not spur it faster. All it can do is try not to fall off.

i love ethereum
0/ From scaling to identity to real-world assets, the Ethereum ecosystem keeps advancing forward. Here are 28 things the ecosystem accomplished over the last month. 1/ Bhutan becomes the first nation to anchor its national digital ID system on Ethereum, showing how governments can use open infrastructure to keep public identity systems secure, sovereign, and verifiable. 2/ @JovayNetwork by Ant Group (creator of AliPay) are building the next era of Layer 2, connecting one of the world’s largest payment networks with open, global infrastructure. 3/ Stablecoin transfers on @ethereum hit $5T last quarter. Onchain payments continue to become the internet’s settlement layer for global value. 4/ ERC-8004 went live, enabling AI agents to discover and trust each other without intermediaries, a step toward open, autonomous agent economies built on Ethereum. 5/ @ADIChain_ joined the @zksync Elastic Network, launching the first dirham-backed stablecoin with major UAE banks, a strong link between regulated finance and open settlement infrastructure. 6/ @centrifuge launched SPXA, the first tokenized S&P 500 Index Fund licensed by @SPDJIndices and deployed on @base, bringing traditional market exposure directly into the onchain economy. 7/ The Ethereum for Institutions site is now live. The new site acts as a resource for builders, leaders, and institutions. 8/ @WalletConnect Pay went live with @dtc_pay, enabling seamless stablecoin payments across retail and hospitality in Asia, bridging onchain money with everyday transactions. 9/ @Lighter_xyz launched its mainnet after eight months in private beta, bringing low-cost, low-latency perpetual trading to Ethereum L2 with verifiable matching and liquidations for high-performance DeFi. 10/ @fluidkey launched its new app on iOS, Android, and web, combining privacy-preserving accounts, stealth addresses, yield, swaps, and biometric security in one onchain wallet. 11/ @brevis_zk unveiled Pico Prism, a zkVM proving 99.6% of blocks in under 12 seconds with 64 RTX 5090 GPUs, showing how zero-knowledge (ZK) performance is accelerating. 12/ @ziskvm now proves every Ethereum block in real time, averaging 7.5-second proofs, supporting the network in delivering secure scalability. 13/ @Securitize and @FGNexusio brought the first NASDAQ-listed equity fully onchain, turning dividend-paying shares into programmable assets. Public markets are starting to use Ethereum as their base layer. 14/ Ethereum is now the main capital hub of @zksync. ZKsync introduced the Atlas upgrade which makes it faster to move funds between L1 and L2. This means institutional and RWA asset flows can use directly Ethereum L1 as a liquidity hub. 15/ Applications on @ethereum now host over $360B in deposits, up $100B this year. 16/ Layer 2 networks on @ethereum processed 1.4B transactions in Q3, a new record. Showing how scaling solutions are working to bring Ethereum to millions of users. 17/ @RobinhoodApp_EU Stock Tokens went live in the EU. There are 400+ Stock Tokens linked to U.S. stocks and ETFs, giving retail investors onchain access to traditional markets. 18/ @arbitrum One passed 2B transactions. 19/ @coinbase rolled out decentralized exchange (DEX) trading for US users (except NY), opening access to millions of tokens directly from the app. 20/ @base launched creator coins to a group of early access users. Coins will let fans hold a stake in their favorite builders. 21/ Japanese startup, JYPC launched the world's first yen-pegged stablecoin on Ethereum. 22/ @ShutterNetwork and @SnapshotLabs brought private voting to all decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), protecting millions of participants onchain. 23/ @MiniPay wallets increased by 175% year-over-year during the quarter. Users initiated approx 290M peer-to-peer transactions worth over $300M across 60 countries. 24/ @ZAMM_DEFI launched a new feature: AI-powered swaps. Traders can now execute intelligent, automated swaps directly on zAMM 25/ @AegisMarkets reached $1B in total volume. The app is built on @Uniswap v4. 26/ @AbstractChain dropped block times from 1s → 200ms, a 5x speed boost that enables real-time apps and seamless user experiences across the network. 27/ @gizatechxyz surpassed 500K autonomous transactions—agents are acting independently on Ethereum. 28/ @Celo reached 1B total transactions, showing Ethereum’s scaling ecosystem in full motion.

storytelling is the ultimate compression algorithm for human attention. everything else, data, logic, tech feeds into it, but if you can’t wrap it in a compelling narrative, nobody will give a shit. people think they make decisions based on facts, but they’re mostly responding to the shape of a story, whether it’s a personal arc, a company vision, or a product pitch. if you want to accomplish anything meaningful, the story is the interface between it & the world. get that wrong & nobody will give af. get it right & you bend steel with your bare hands.
Storytelling is one of the most underrated skills in tech. Everyone’s building. Few can explain why it matters.
this is like what i mean @DeFiDave22
