Let me put it like this:
Women want to feel God. Worship often looks like soaking in music and emotional appeals โ the concert vibes, group studies, and open sharing of hearts and feelings.
>>Thatโs entirely female-coded.
Men want to follow and experience God. They want to know Him, obey Him, and defend Him. They want their families to represent Him. Men wrestle with God, fight spiritual battles, and find peace in that purpose.
>>Thatโs male-coded.
The problem? Most modern, non-traditional churches are female-coded โ the โJesus is my boyfriendโ style that gives many men the ick.
Traditional churches appeal to men because they meet their spiritual and emotional needs: a perfect King to serve, to swear allegiance to, and to follow into battle.
This isnโt complicated.
