That was my favorite quote of the episode. I think its very important for technically focused people to have some curiousity about how to explain the concepts they are working with to people who have not arrived at the same level of understanding through a long path of tinkering

Agree. It takes curiosity and some humility to translate deep technical work or any kind of deep work without talking down. That’s where real connection starts.

Agree. It’s the kind of point that’s easy to overlook because it sounds simple…Glad it resonated.

Nope. it’s me! I enjoy engaging with everyone who takes the time to listen or comment. Hope you liked the episode! But I do sometimes double check replies. I’m not a native English speaker, so it helps.

I think this is true 70% of the time. Some things, you just have to bring the non technical person into the fold using relative terms. For example. You can explain the Single Sign On system to a non techie, but the moment you have to explain how you need different auth tokens for the API and the client for better security. You better bring up the white board and draw some lines, otherwise you be rapping in ancient Egyptian
This is where content creators come in. As a creator, I should be able to communicate to people what you -the dev is building. Creators should be the bridge of communication, as a creator, i can explain technical concepts in a layman’s term that even a granny would understand. I am Wazobia d creator, the best creator for your project. Here are some masterpiece i cooked recently.

Love seeing a black talk like the white man. Elegant with poise
What if the subject in question is intrinsically complex?

That’s where I come in, I write. To bridge that gap between what’s built and what’s understood.

The language of empathy. That's a sweet one right there.
