My teams comment on our team meeting I took in a Waymo: You’re more relaxed in a Waymo than giving access to your emails to an AI agent. I certainly freaked out when the agent started emailing people on my behalf. 😆

Airbnb founders famously took a $21M secondary from the $112M Series B in 2011, which valued it at $1.2B. VCs said back then what they say today: secondaries terrible for innovation… I don’t buy it Airbnb went on to be a smashing success. Founders: take secondaries if you can

AOL has 30 million users paying about $7/month. That's about $210 million revenue a month and $2.5 billion ARR a year. The $2.8B in debt is backed by revenue and goodwill in the AOL brand. These transactions add up the VC ones don't...

We lead preseed rounds which look very different than the seed rounds. Founders raising $500k-$3m should think of us before they tap any large funds! We are going to make 3 more investments this year so email us! We are 1st check investors in almost 100 companies!

In VC timing's everything. VCs work in 10 yr fund cycle. Recent IPO drops have stretched them to 14+ yrs. VC are investing under the assumption that AI will be used everywhere in 3-5 yrs but 90% of startups will fail & survivors won’t IPO for 20+ yrs if ever. VC as a career isn't going to make you rich.
