Our advanced multi-modal sensor suite can see through dense dust at up to 2x the distance that cameras can.

The  next generation of FirstLight, our proprietary FMCW lidar, now detects objects at ~1,000 meters away (2x the distance of our current generation and the closest FMCW lidar competitor!).🎯 This is a game-changer for long-range, high-speed trucking. More range = a new standard for safety in the industry. ⚡

Our integration with @McLeodSoftware 🤝 is designed to deliver seamless service and accelerate adoption of the Aurora Driver 🚀. Proof? Just one month in, we executed an agreement with McLeod customer Russell Transport for driverless hauls on the Fort Worth to El Paso lane. 🚚

We’re expanding! Last week, we launched commercial operations from Fort Worth to El Paso, marking the fastest scale-up to a second driverless market in the U.S. self-driving industry. This new 600-mile route can take 9 to 10 hours for human drivers. It's a true test of the Aurora Driver's capabilities, especially as it has to navigate challenging conditions like dust storms.

We recently unveiled our second-generation commercial hardware kit💡✨ which is expected to reduce hardware costs by half while boosting performance and durability. This hardware is being integrated with a new fleet, based on the International LT Series, at Aurora’s Pittsburgh hardware facilities which is slated for driverless deployment without an observer in Q2 2026!
