Putin is in an impasse when it comes to real successes on the battlefield. The situation looks more like a stalemate for him. Why? Because for us it’s very hard, but we are at home and defending what is ours. Society defends, the military defends, the whole body of the state defends itself from this attack. His situation is different. First, he has radicalized public opinion toward this issue through information. Second, he promised objectives he has not achieved, so he needs to show some gains. And that is why all the energy attacks are dangerous – to demonstrate: “Look, I supposedly have a plan – there we pressure with weapons, and here we attack.” And why do these attacks turn into terrorist acts, why do civilians die, and many are wounded, why are people left without electricity and water? Because he cannot create tension in our society in any other way. He understands that we have united the whole state and rallied all of Europe around us, and breaking that unity is very difficult. He is trying to do it. Now he needs to show that he dominates. He wants to find some operations he can present as successes to his society. These are drones, or an energy attack on us, or a cyberattack on Germany, the United Kingdom, France, or an attack on choice, political choice, during elections in some country where far-right representatives could come to power – who, let’s say, are ideologically closer to today’s Putin. This is hybrid warfare. And it is exactly like that. It is a hybrid war in Europe, and Ukraine pays the highest price for it, because the physical war is taking place on our territory.

We’re not going to “fix the Democrats’ brand” by doing TikToks or launching podcasts. The brand is a direct reflection of the strength of our elected officials. If we want to purge our weak branding, we have to purge the weak Democrats. I’m looking forward to a robust primary cycle and ushering in a new era of Democrats who actually know how to fight.

When a state learns to make a person disappear without consequence, it also learns that disappearance works. What begins at the margins - the migrant, the stranger, the voiceless - soon becomes a method of governance. The machinery doesn't distinguish by origin, only by obedience. History has written this pattern in every century: cruelty tested on the vulnerable, perfected on the dissenting, finally applied to everyone. The moment we accept silence around one human being, we draft the warrant for our own. The measure of a democracy is not how it treats its citizens, but how it treats those who have no passport strong enough to protect them. Because the wall built for the stranger always grows inward.

Here, a little something for the (very incorrect) "Only Americans get due process" crowd in these comments.
You're an American born citizen. Your neighbor thinks you play your music too loud. They decide to take revenge instead of discussing it with you. They call ICE on you. They tell ICE that you're an illegal alien from Europe. You've been here long enough to lose your accent, but that doesn't matter, you're still an illegal. Trust me, bro. The ICE agent has a quota to meet. He'll get a bonus for catching you. When they come for you, they tackle you extra hard to make sure you can't get away. They really want that bonus. You're taken to a holding facility. Against the law, they don't let you call your wife and kids. They have no idea what happened to you. You tell them you're a citizen. But they'll meet their quota and get a bonus for ignoring you. You demand your phone call and lawyer. It's your constitutional right, you say. Illegals don't have rights, they tell you. You should have thought of all of this when you came here, they say. You're being deported to foreign prison. There will be no trial. But you can prove you're a citizen, you tell them! How can you prove you're innocent with no court date? Illegals don't get court dates, they say. This can actually happen in America now. This is why EVERYONE has rights. If they can do this to anyone, they can do it to everyone, even you.

All of these "She must have been here illegally" people missing or intentionally ignoring the point that in America, arrested people get phone calls and access to a lawyer. Third world dictatorships withhold that. This isn't America anymore.

They were doing it right. They stole her from court. This has nothing to do with criminals. It’s about meeting quotas. It’s madness. It’s evil. It’s un-American.
"A man ran to the Broadview ICE facility today searching for his wife of five years. They were following the legal process, showing up for her court case, when ICE took her to another room and disappeared her. He tracked her phone to Broadview where the signal cut off. Police told him to just look up her name online. He sat in a parking lot weeping, confused, with no answers." 🥹😭👇

russian occupation is not peace — it’s terror. Anatoliy Kobzar from Sevastopol went missing on March 5, 2024. He left for work — and never returned. FSB raided his home, seized documents, and gave his family no information. 1.7 years later, he was found in Simferopol SIZO #8. At 1.93 m tall, he now weighs 62 kg (he used to weigh 100 kg), is completely gray-haired, and faces up to 20 years in prison for “treason.” His first meeting with family was on Oct 31. “Tears flowed continuously,” said the Crimean Tatar Resource Center. The visit was meant to pressure his relatives to testify against him. This is what russian “peace” looks like.

The use of a 3-ton FAB-3000 bomb on Myrnograd is a #WarCrime. Striking a civilian city with such a devastating weapon guarantees mass civilian casualties. Russia’s brutality knows no bounds. #WarCrimes

As a drone operator from 🇨🇦, a good portion of my work consist of scanning our roads, day and night, looking for those. We generally find 1-2 per day. When found, we use a Mavic 3 to drop an explosive to destroy it. Those guys from the video are very courageous, for picking this thing up. Personally im not taking the risk. But they seems to be solid engineers that know what they are doing. What do you think?
