So much becomes simple with straightforward APIs and durable functions
An awesome demo to see how orchestration works and how to use Inngest can be used to build with context engineering
Everybody talks about Context Engineering principles but few show how it works 🕳️
Let’s build an AI Research Assistant and see how Context Engineering helps make it more reliable and accurate 👇
Paul, co-founder of @cubic_dev_ , shared a take that’ll change how you think about AI models
👇
✅ Models know better than you which context they need
✅ Fewer tools win
✅ Expect failures: embrace observability and durability from day one
It doesn’t need to go on the burger but he bought it for me
My son thought of me at a random moment in the store
Now I think of him every time I cook food
Just a fun thing that happens with kids
Related to dadhood. One of the things I find I just enjoy and think is nice/restorative is when I find my self doing things or using thing my son thinks I need.
He decided to pick out a seasoning that dad needed from the store. I use it every time I make burgers.
I’ve tried ADHD meds before and it is now becoming a reality for me that they all have probably actually worked but because I forget to drink water and had unbearable headaches I thought they were ineffective
🤦♂️
Can we get people responding to bring awareness of work people are doing around cancer?
Experimental places
Tech advances
Anything else like this
1) trying to find places for friends
2) just feels a big lack of awareness of what is being done around it (maybe just me)
Do you ever think about how far you would be along if you just follow directions and paths laid out for you by those who know what they are talking about?
I do and it haunts me
Maybe just got clarity on why useEffects tend to be footguns.
"interacting with the DOM in react is a side effect"
I think this makes sense when constantly aware of React as V-DOM and updates DOM but at the same time the DOM should, intuitively, never be a side effect
So many underrated things I am finding out right now
@v0 for html/webcomponents for quick mock ups
@instant_db using with static sites
@instant_db out of the box features like presence for building fun experiences
@inngest and @instant_db for scalable 'sync first' apps
Thinking of @kentcdodds and this is one of the things that unlocked a lot of "aha's" for me with MCP
Also makes me think of visual workflow builders and vscode extensions like @DavidKPiano's work and the extensibility here!
Looking forward to seeing what people build!
We’re thrilled to release the Inngest DevServer MCP ✨
You’ll no longer need to manually create testing events or manually trigger your Inngest functions via your app.
Test and debug your local Inngest functions directly from Cursor or Claude Code.

Quality of life UI/UX improvements for Github, maybe tagging @jaredpalmer
When committing suggestions from the main conversations page on a PR a full page refresh and snap to previous position isn't necessary. Just let me keep going to refresh necessary.
I think Cursor should have some sort of default internal event for when it is running ports, like running localhost, where it just kills them after a certain period of time.
Deleting the terminal window doesn't kill the process.
@leerob could be a little QOL thing
AI agent orchestration has the same reliability challenges as any async workflow. How do you handle retries? Manage state? Debug errors?

With @tan_stack Start and createServerFn's, InstantDB on the backend and live queries alongside Inngest for workflows, these all work very well together.
As a gluer of code tools and concepts, I generally like taking things I love and finding other ways of implementing/building them.
@convex_dev is a really good technology so I have been toying with other technologies to get a similar feel
@instant_db w/ @inngest does that!
Not the same but using AI and Inngest realtime to update 3d stuff. Its not quite where I want it and is more subtle than I want it but just a fun Idea. Taking a lot of the react 3 fiber stuff and putting it in Tanstack with inngest to drive 3d ui's
