Naval Statecraft and the Navy Needed The nation needs a strong maritime industry to convey trade, which today relies >99% on others’ ships. At the same time a strong navy is required to ensure those ships can come to our ports, defend Americans and secure our national interests. Today our maritime industrial base is a strategic vulnerability and our Navy struggling to keep the peace and win the new Cold War. Naval Statecraft is a way to achieve all this, the case is made in the recent book: amazon.com/gp/aw/d/168247777…

Last week at the #ManilaDialogue on the #SouthChinaSea, I explained why it was 🇨🇳#China's aggressive maritime expansionism--not some imaginary provocation by the 🇵🇭#Philippines--that caused the collision between two Chinese ships near #ScarboroughShoal.

I could say the same about democrats
Republicans/conservatives seem to have no idea how to express a positive vision and its quite sad. They say nothing to young people but "things suck now" over and over. The biggest posts they make right now are loser cope like below and alienating even more people.

Not having an Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Resesrch, Development, and Acquisition (RDA) isn’t helping…
Absolutely ridiculous. And it’s been over a year since Trump talked about fixing this ship on the campaign trail. Who is slow rolling him?

Brilliant idea by @POTUS! Instead of pouring billions into BIG INSURANCE, he’s calling to send it directly to Americans, so they can choose for their families. What will Democrats in Congress say? Will they side with insurance companies or the people?

Today is when the Wall Fell… The Berlin Wall collapsed under the weight of its own suppression fostered by an immoral Soviet communist system. On the evening of November 9, 1989 the people on both sides of the wall acted not knowing then if the Communist soldiers on the east side would shoot them. “To reject this inhuman Communist ideology is simply to be a human being. Such a rejection is more than a political act. It is a protest of our souls against those who would have us forget the concepts of good and evil.” — Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn This moment of “people power” had been seen previously in the 1986 bloodless toppling of a dictator in Manila. Yet the “Wall” came down just months after democracy protesters on a months long protest were crushed in June 1989 - over a thousand estimated killed in the brutal crackdown down by the Chinese Communist Party in Tiananmen Square. The popular faith in democracy and free markets had been re-awakened by the renewed faith stoked by President Reagan. To capture the sentiments of the early Reagan presidency - three close advisors and friends of the former President joined to reflect. Their actions achieved more than any government action or initiative - it awakened the people of the world that freedom was possible and prosperous. Reagan: “Facts are stubborn things.”
Since 1963, 75% of all nationwide injunctions have been against President Trump. 90% of those injunctions came from Democrat-appointed judges. Yet the Admin has a 92% win rate at SCOTUS. President Trump isn’t the one abusing his power. It’s Democrat-appointed judges.

36 years ago today, civilization prevailed over barbaric communist ideology when the Berlin Wall crumbled to the ground. We owe President Reagan an eternal debt of gratitude for his clear-eyed conviction to secure peace through strength. 🇺🇸🕊️

.@GordianKnotRay speaks at the #ManilaDialogue, lambasting China for its expansionist aggression in the South China Sea, insisting that China alone is responsible for the increased tensions in the region. He labels China's acts a move of aggressive territorial expansion and calls on more nations in the region to do more to increase the costs on China, whilst praising the Philippines for its brave transoerencu initiative. @wps_ph #WPS #SitRepPH
