We traded long walks for long hours sitting.
We traded playing for scrolling.
We traded movement for convenience.
And then we said,
“I’m getting old.”
But what if the body isn’t aging as fast as the habit is?
What if the stiffness, the soreness, the fatigue isn’t the body falling apart…
But instead the body asking to be used again?
Muscles weaken when they’re ignored.
Balance fades when it’s not practiced.
Joints tighten when they don’t get invited to move.
The body is not fragile.
The body is adaptable.
It responds to what you do with it
…or what you don’t.
So move.
Even if it’s slow.
Even if it’s gentle.
Even if it’s only for 5 minutes today.
Your body is not done.
Your strength is not gone.
Your story is not over.
