Uni is a good place for it I suppose...maybe try to initiate a conversation by talking about something Uni-related and then switch to talking about interests and so on🙏

All the other advice aside, if you struggle with social interactions, therapy might be a good first step. I struggled to form real friendships until I figured out some stuff in my group therapy sessions. Good luck to you!

Community is the key. Find a community. Discord works, IRL is better. Then put in the time. Show up, don't be shy, and chitchat. Your goal is to talk to lots of people. Eventually you'll find someone with a good personality. Focus on them, try to get to know them.

I wanted to try this! Do you have tips for how to find discords? I only ever find links to the really big public ones, where the chat goes so fast you can’t form interactions
