In this week's gorilla introductions, we saw 'Johari' resting on the ground and foraging with other troop members. We're encouraged seeing adult female 'Kioja' grow more comfortable with Johari and having silverback 'Jasiri' support the troop with his leadership. 🦍

If you haven't noticed it, that's because tapir tails aren't especially prominent, being only a few inches long. 📏 Did you know that mom 'Sempurna' was born without a tail? 🤯
