I work as a scribe for derm and so many Dr's are leaving live person scribes for Ai scribing and it's fucking up everyone's charts 🥲

Addendum: Please get everything in writing at doctor's offices, actually take a minute to read documents before signing them, and request/keep a physical copy for yourself. Those touch-pad e-sign machines defy informed consent principles and should not be allowed under HIPAA!

Yes!! My pediatrician asked me and I was like….yeah, no. I’m not okay with that. And he was a little surprised, but said something along the lines of, ‘that okay, I can just take notes by hand, it might just take me a little longer’. Uhhhh yeah, please do, doc 📝
