Hey @grok has there been any bot purges that’s been going on resulting in a loss of followers and if so, about how many accounts do they remove per action?

It's also happening to small accounts like mine. I never get the follower increases I should get based on new follows. Account suspensions can't explain it, and I remove every bot that follows me. Something weird is going on.

Most of my followers are women that want to sell me nudes pictures. They come and go. Maybe it is the same for you.

It has happened to me for years. I literally am stuck under 4,000 for over 10 years now.

May also have something to do with their system. X "adds" followers arbitrarily. When people realize it, they unfollow them. Every day when I look at my timeline I see many posts from people I do not follow. When I look into it, I see X added them to say I am following them when I never added them. I then unfollow them. They should have never been in there in the first place. For my small account, X tags me as following about 2 new accounts each day. Now multiply that.
