Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) organized the 4th National Conference on the functioning of Land Customs Stations (LCS) in New Delhi to discuss the multifaceted aspects of trade through LCS and to bring focus on the core issues in overland trade with neighbouring countries.
Revenue Secretary Sh. Sanjay Malhotra delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of LCS in facilitating cross-border trade and promoting economic cooperation. Chairman, CBIC, Members, CBIC and other senior officers of CBIC and other Ministries were also present on the occasion, highlighting the CBIC's commitment to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of LCS.
