As the security situation deteriorates, transit centers such as this one in #Pavlohrad receive more than 300 displaced persons each day — exhausted and in urgent need of support. Through the joint efforts of local authorities and international partners, we make sure they are not left alone in crisis.

November 8, Kostyantynivka. At 9:30 right in the city center, the only evacuation car of the @MissionProliska was attacked. This is another report of a violation of international humanitarian law. ⚠️
Ms. Olena lives in the village of Studenok, Kharkiv region. Her house was damaged twice: in 2022, during the hostilities, debris damaged the roof and broke windows and doors, and in the autumn of 2024, a large forest fire broke out nearby, damaging many homes. ‘Everything around was burning, but my house was still standing — everyone was surprised,’ recalls Ms. Olena. The local authorities included the woman's house in the list of residents who needed housing repairs. Subsequently, she became a participant in a restoration project implemented by our Foundation. Thanks to this assistance, Ms. Olena received funds to repair the roof and install new windows and doors. After the damaged house was restored, inspired and filled with joy at the opportunity to live in comfort again, Ms. Olena shared a poem she wrote herself and dedicated to her home. The project is being implemented by the Charitable Foundation "Angels of Salvation" in cooperation with @WeWorldGlobal and funded by the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund. @OCHA_Ukraine

Winter is always difficult for people living near the front line. Frosts, heating disruptions, expensive firewood and gas all affect people's peace of mind and spirit. Every day, people think about how to heat their homes and keep them warm to withstand the cold outside. Our team hears almost every day that in such conditions, any help is greatly appreciated. And we are grateful that we can work with @UNHCRUkraine to care for people like Ms Nina. She shares that this winter she plans to stay warm with a warm blanket, a new heater and insulated windows. @OCHA_Ukraine

Winter brings harsh challenges to families near the frontlines. As temperatures drop rapidly, our emergency response teams act immediately after attacks to ensure people are not left in the cold, providing @UNHCRUkraine emergency repair kits when it matters most. @OCHA_Ukraine
Group work with teenagers on the topic of ‘Counteracting bullying’. In the village of Novohryhorivka, a mobile team of psychologists conducted an educational training session on the topic of bullying among teenagers. The session was attended by 21 participants, who discussed important issues with qualified specialists: how to recognise bullying, how to support someone who is suffering from it, and where to turn for help. The work of the mobile teams is coordinated by the Charitable Foundation "Angels of Salvation' in partnership with #DanChurchAid (#DCA) and #NorwegianChurchAid (#NCA) in #Ukraine, with funding from the #Norwegian #government.

Thanks to our partner @LiberecoPHR , families in the Mykolaiv region already have supplies for the winter. In the spring, they received seed kits, harvested their crops in the summer, and are now preserving vegetables and making homemade preserves. This is another step in preparing for the winter season.
What is double distribution of food kits and why do we do it? In communities located within 5 km of active combat zones, access to food can be difficult. That is why we are distributing double food kits @WFPUkraine , so that families have a minimum supply of food in case of lack of access to food. @OCHA_Ukraine

‘Children should not see war’: the story of Ms. Hanna's evacuation When hostilities come close to home, the most important thing is the safety of children. It was with these words that we met Ms. Hanna. When the shelling became too frequent, she decided to temporarily move with her son to her parents' village, 40 kilometres from the combat zone. But even there, it was gradually becoming more dangerous. To protect her child, Hanna made a difficult but necessary decision to evacuate further. ‘It was very sad and scary for me to make the decision to evacuate,’ she shares. ‘But children should not have to see war and live under threat.’ Our evacuation team helped the family leave the danger zone. They are now heading to a city in a safer region, more than 500 kilometres from the front line. There, a new stage in their lives will begin. ‘It will be much easier for the child there: he will go to kindergarten again and make new friends — and that's the most important thing,’ says Hanna with a smile. Evacuation always involves anxiety, doubts and difficult choices. But at the same time, it is a path to peace, recovery and new opportunities. We stand with those who dare to take this step — and we support everyone who chooses safety for themselves and their families. Watch the full story of the family's evacuation at the link: eng.charity-aos.com/children…
Support from our partners allows us to be there every day for those who need it the most. We sincerely thank @rcc_ua_ for supporting our team and for our joint efforts that make meaningful change possible. We are looking forward to our further cooperation.

On October 6, #Sloviansk in Donetsk region, came under shelling. At least eight apartment buildings and two educational institutions were damaged as a result of the attack. Together with @UNHCRUkraine, our team is working on site, delivering OSB sheets and plastic sheeting for the temporary repair of damaged homes. This allows people to quickly secure their homes from the weather and maintain a minimum level of comfort. Civilians should never have to bear the burden of war. @OCHA_Ukraine

Families in the Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions can now register for financial assistance to support agricultural development. So far, an independent selection committee has held more than five meetings and chosen the first families who qualify under the project’s vulnerability criteria. These families will soon receive funding to buy essential farming supplies such as seeds, fertilizers, animals, animal feed, and agricultural equipment. The project, run by the Charitable Foundation "Angels of Salvation" with support from the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, aims to help people not only recover from the crisis but also rebuild and grow their farms. This support will allow families to strengthen their farms, become more self-reliant, and build a better future. @OCHA_Ukraine

We create safe and comfortable conditions for thousands of families who have lost their homes. Together with @UNHCRUkraine , we repair collective sites for internally displaced persons who were forced to leave due to the deteriorating security situation. One such place is the collective site in Kharkiv, which welcomes both residents of the Kharkiv region and those from the neighbouring Donetsk region. Thanks to our cooperation with UNHCR, we are improving conditions so that everyone who has left their home can feel comfortable and safe again. @OCHA_Ukraine

In #Kramatorsk, people are in particular need of support due to frequent shelling. Residents continue to live in damaged homes, food deliveries to markets are difficult, and prices for food and essential items are rising. That is why CF "#AngelsofSalvation", in cooperation with the #DanishRefugeeCouncil (#DRC) and with the support of the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development, continues to support people by providing them with multi-purpose cash assistance.
