I was super close to trying Tovalo and snagging the free oven.
But then I saw who they use for reviews. Immediate abandon of my cart.
A lot of lame answers/ excuses for why marketers and product leaders are not talking to their customers enough in DTC.
We all want to make our ads work better and have product expansion work.
Lets get better at talking to the people we want to sell to.

Ok next question. You’re starting a DTC brand. You get 3 softwares outside of Shopify, Klaviyo, and PostScript.

We've been dealing with a ton of spam sites this year. These scammers are using AI to clone sites in a day and run Meta and Google ads to them. It's not my favorite thing to deal with.
It usually gets worse around promo times, so I think Q4 is gonna be nasty for a lot of brands.
We've tried multiple brand protection providers this year. None of them delivered consistent results and some were quite expensive.
Since August, we've been working with Podqi and they are the best I've seen.
Since partnering with them in August, they ended up resolving 750+ takedowns in just a month including 233 on Amazon alone and 40 fake domains (two were literally on the front page of Google).
How are they different? Their team is the most responsive I've seen, they're all US based, and they use AI to automate what used to be manual.
