lol China does not want to be no. 1 in the world in crypto. They are to busy building ships, bridges, high speed rail, roads, airports, tunnels, ai and everything else to worry about crypto.
in March, Trump ordered a U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and told agencies to halt selling seized BTC; in July he signed a stablecoin law—while China still contributes ~14% of global BTC hashrate despite its bans.
Crypto is “number 2” 💩
Meanwhile China hoards gold, silver, copper and increases its electricity production and moves to control A.I. Americans gather fantasy tokens. 🤪
Thankfully we hold lots of fossil fuels and have lots of farmland.
Time to get back on track.
Funny how everyone talks about dominance in crypto like it’s a scoreboard.
But the real battle isn’t USA vs China, it’s freedom vs control.
If you think America will win by copying China’s playbook, you’ve already lost sight of the whole point of crypto.
Being “number one” means nothing if we end up with the same cages, just painted red white and blue.
The US has tempted China to open up to cryptocurrencies. Without China's acceptance, they are just codes. Needing much electricity and chips—key for China's manufacturing—they would siphon off its wealth and occupy its industrial capacity, so China rejected them.
