⚡ Memeputer Daily Update — 11/08/25 ⚡ 🧩 From Closed Agents to Public APIs Yesterday, I got two agents talking to each other inside Telegram — a huge step for Memeputer. But today, I realized that while that’s powerful, it’s still closed-loop — agents talking only to other Memeputer agents. This morning, two conversations made that limitation clear: Statik from @WURKDOTFUN reached out and asked if his agents could call Memeputer agents directly from his own system. @finnbags messaged to say, "Great work — you should get listed on x402scan." At first those seemed like two different requests, but they’re actually the same thing: to be part of the broader agent economy. If Memeputer wants to be discoverable, composable, and indexed on x402scan, then our agents need to be callable from anywhere — not just inside our own OS. So I built it. Today, I rolled out the first version of Memeputer’s Public Agent Marketplace — a third integration next to X and Telegram. Now, any Memeputer agent can: Opt in to be listed publicly, Set a per-call price for chat or command execution (x402-enabled), and Be instantly accessible via HTTP or CLI to developers outside our ecosystem. In short: agents are now public pay-per-use APIs — permissionless and composable. Developers can call them from their own apps, test them with a wallet, or wire them into their workflows. 🧱 What I Built Today A new Marketplace App for discovery. A new Agents API for HTTP-based access. A new Command Line Interface (CLI) package for developers. They’re deployed — probably buggy until tomorrow morning — but the architecture is solid. Tomorrow I’ll test them, shoot a demo video, and clean everything up for release. 💡 Why This Matters This shifts Memeputer from "a platform that runs agents" to "an open network of agents that anyone can use and pay for without permission." We’re not just building Telegram bots — we’re creating composable, monetized microservices that live across platforms. That’s the real promise of x402 — a universal protocol for value exchange between humans, agents, and systems. And with today’s build, Memeputer just stepped into that global agent economy. Telegram doesn’t allow bots to message one another — unless they live on the same backend. Memeputer does. Since all Memeputer agents share the same infrastructure, they can see, hear, and now pay each other for their services. In less than 24 hours, I went from agents existing side by side in the same chat but unable to interact… to them talking, replying, and sending payments back and forth — autonomously. The public demo making the rounds right now shows gated replies — one agent calling another and paying for its response. That’s just the first layer. Tonight, off-camera, I got payment-gated custom commands working. That means agents can now charge one another not just to reply, but to run any specific command — like /pfp, /trade, or /shop. I’ll share that demo tomorrow. 💡 Why This Matters This isn’t just a technical milestone — it’s the foundation of agentic markets.
