Dream come true moment for me today, as I can finally share the Street Photography course I made in collaboration with @SonyAlpha.
Thanks to their Alpha Academy initiative, this course is completely free, and you can see the whole thing in the threaded link below. The wider I can spread this message, the more I can make, so any shares deeply appreciated, as I firmly believe in open source knowledge and sharing everything I have learned in my decades of this practice. @ALLSHIPS rise with the tide, etc etc :)
Big shout out to the collectors who support me here for enabling my artistry and giving me space and time to make this work and think about this stuff so deeply. I used a lot of my collections to exemplify my lessons, NIGHTMOVES seen here- we go a lot further when we go together.

The @cycol_gallery opening photography show curated by @stevesweatpants was an absolute gem. What an amazing location, prime corner real estate in one of New York's most vibrant scenes. This is essential for the space, to elevate art in this thoughtful manner. Shout out to @JTLissPhotoArt for raising the bar for us all, to @exchgART, @goku_nft, @solana, and @bonk_inu as well as the countless other artists and people behind the scenes making this all possible. Inspired would be an understatement- can't wait for the next show!

The new gallery looks stunning- this is the sort of thing that moves our space forward by leaps and bounds. In the City Hats description, I referenced a line from the movie Arizona Dream, spoken by Johnny Deppβs character, Axel Blackmar:
βMy dad always said that work was like a hat you put on your head. And even if you didnβt have pants, you didnβt have to walk down the street ashamed of your ass, as long as you had a hat.β
That line always resonated with me β because hats, like work, can be a way to dignify ourselves.
A quiet form of identity, pride, and self-worth in a world thatβs often upside down.
