I always listen to healers from all skill levels and experiences and try to keep a well-rounded perspective. While I understand this point, there are plenty of ways of lowering the barrier for entry without completely knee capping the ceiling by removing all skill expression outside of raw healing buttons. Are we really just going to dumb down the role as heavily as possible and remove all skill expression so it’s more beginner friendly? Look at support role in league for example. Imagine if they were literally forced to exclusively sit within 10 yards of their adc the entire game and never be allowed to roam or ward or help their team in other ways. Many beginner supports already do that and that’s okay but the beauty is that the more you learn and grow the more you can start expressing your skills in other ways like roaming, warding, etc. These changes from blizz are removing all of the ways you can grow and learn as a healer in M+ and making it so there is practically no room for skill expression past the most simplistic form of the role possible (raw hps). That’s not healthy for high end players or beginners or anyone in between. It’s okay to have complexities in a role that take time to learn and master, as long as the content that you’re doing doesn’t require you to be a master too early, which it doesn’t. You don’t even need to talent into kick as a healer or use targeted spells or track anyone’s available CDs or deal damage until like +12 keys minimum. Removing the ability to grow and expand your character’s ways of helping the team succeed isn’t healthy for anyone.

I feel like it's a 'high-end-healer-otp' perspective on the game because God knows how shit-ass an avarage healer is at the game and you cant even rely on them to sometimes simply heal through damage that another player on the same class can supposedly do with less gear

"healing is a stressful role" yep so lets make it even worse for them by not letting them have any control over whether or not their dipshit group members catch kicks

Mythic+ was always supposed to be a different form of content from raiding. For healers especially it’s been a great way to showcase skillsets other than raw hps min maxing. This is where things like weaving in impactful damage, interrupting mobs, using CC/utility, coordinating/tracking raid cds and defensives, watching cast target on frames for preemptive game saving plays, and so much more came into play. In Midnight, all of those things will be gone or gutted. Healer damage appears to still be ~1/10th of a dps at absolute best, rendering it meaningless. Interrupts are being taken away, CC/utility is being gutted, targeted spell tracking on frames is being removed, and omniCD style tracking is being removed with no suitable replacement in sight… All of our agency to help our team succeed is being stripped down to just raw healing, and I’m left to wonder, what’s left? All that’s left for M+ healers is now just raw hps buttons, turning it into just a smaller group version of raid where we just stare at health bars the whole time and only worry about hps. Mythic+ was never meant to be played the same as raid, it’s supposed to be another, separate end game pillar that allows players to showcase different skillsets and playstyles. Midnight is set to strip away 90% healer’s skill expression and agency over group survivability outside of just straight hps buttons. I really hope blizzard reconsiders some of these changes

Cynder from The Legend of Spyro I don’t know that much about this character, but I really like her design and serious look.

Everyone's been sharing their Haranir so I thought I'd share mine even though she hasn't got a name yet. They're so gorgeous. I really hope we get people RPing as Haranir and not just the other elf races!
