Doubled the length of my workout goal 5 times this month so I’m celebrating the progress.👍
Trying different arrangements of rowing (distance/time/heart rate) & kettlebell workouts (EMOM) has paid off. Novelty in November makes it fun.

Remember all those times we said/thought, “I just need more time.”? Well, now we have it. Let’s dedicate it to our happiness, contentment, peace & health.
What a sweet and thoughtful gift I received last year when I turned the big 5-0! 50 things about me this person sees in me! What an uplifting gift! Constant reminders of who I Am! 💙💙💙 @drgrowtoknow
For those who are or have been a Principal: I see you & I’m grateful-for every hard decision made, every stressful event handled & every worry endured; your energy, time & care make a difference. I hope this echoes throughout your school year: THANK YOU.
We all have a day like this every now & then.
Those are the days that we need to prioritize creating space & a place for our own processing; a few minutes, a few miles, a few mugs of coffee, a few meaningful breaths, a few memories-whatever you need, make it happen. You’re #1.
Most of us crave predictability because it feels safe. But growth rarely happens in predictable spaces.
I used to see change as something to survive, It was something that interrupted my plans. Then I realized that change wasn’t the problem. My resistance to it was.
Day 3 of the Built With Purpose Challenge focuses on Embracing Change and Adaptability.
Change isn’t the interruption of your plan but the continuation of your process.
Ask yourself today:
How do I respond when things shift unexpectedly?
What stays grounded when everything else moves?
Read today’s reflection to learn how adaptability helps protect your capacity and lead with care ... especially when plans fall apart.

Not AI and not edited…a glimpse of the perfect beauty our world has to offer if we are willing to take a moment to notice. A blessing, a source of peace and reflection. (photo taken in Ruidoso, NM on 10/15/25 at 7:15 am)
From best to rest, then the best you can.
I set a “PR” in rowing yesterday: 2.1 miles in one session; not the longest I’ve rowed but the longest in a specific time frame. 736 strokes. 🎉Today I wasn’t motivated, I believed that I needed to rest. Which I did-until I worked out. 🙂
One of my favorites!
A message, a reminder & motivation all in one. Read the message & do what it takes for YOU to be your best. Is it coffee? A face full of sunshine? A workout? A chat w/a friend?
All of the above?
Be awesome today & everyday.
SEPTEMBER SUCCESS!🎉 I met my goal of 25 kettlebell workouts this month (with a 20lb kb). 25 workouts (random in sets, reps & exercise per workout) = 2,566 reps in all! This may be the most consistent thing I’ve done in a long while. Woohoo! Bring on October! 💪

Are you planning to have face painting at a campus event? When I served as an Elementary Principal we added “Paint the Principal” and had a blast! (We were the dolphins ❤️🐬.)
Small, large, tiny, huge, intentional, incidental….yours, your team’s, your program….growth is a part of better.
Being better takes effort.
It’s not about status.
It’s about beating the status quo.
How has effort led to growth for you?
