False, false, false, false, false. They did not slaughter the original inhabitants. In fact South Africa was largely uninhabited.

I was living there. Southern Rhodesia wasn鈥檛 called southern for nothing. The indigenous inhabitants were a robust and welcoming people with a full culture. As it later escaped from British colonisation, it became Zimbabwe, for good or ill, but it鈥檚 clear that it wasn鈥檛 empty!
