I’ve been contemplating this for a while; but in my eyes the only way for the United Kingdom to survive the coming aion would be to economically and socially model ourselves after Singapore - to become a mega hyper capitalist off shore tax haven for Europe and the Americans - To become an quasi benevolent dictatorship to inforce social order in a multinational society - and to become hyper militarily focused solely on the Royal Navy thus securing future North Sea trading routes, oil and gas reserves.

Singapore is a English speaking country. That's no more remarkable than New Zealand having a higher english speaking rate.

Singapore has less population diversity than the US by a country mile. But also Lee Kuan Yew made english mandatory in schools in order to bring Singapore to a first world country as fast as possible. So it speaks more to his efforts than any other factors.
That caught my eye. I seriously doubt the US rate is 95.5% though 😂

Basically every negative stat about America is caused by black people. Net drain.

Singlish/English is the official language of Singapore, it's not that strange.

I have my doubts about these numbers

America is not 95.5% It is, *at best* 70% And that’s the best case scenario.

Many Americans can barely speak a single human language so 95.5 is definitely an over count.

It’s definitely lower than that in America lmfao

Replying to @escapefrommelos
USA isn't surprising, because we have a lot of immigrants and... certain people, who don't really learn the language. But wtf Australia?

This is stupid. If you’re in America and don’t speak English you’re not American.
