NVIDIA's 581.80 might create issues with alt-tabbing back to CS2. The game will refuse to scale back to the resolution you set in game and will transform into a small window on the top left side of the screen. I noticed it on 3 different PCs. Your case might differ. @FPSHEAVEN

Would True view in theory show a different result here @CounterStrike ?
CS2 demo shows a clear hit on the player but in reality he missed due to lag compensation. Watching demos to investigate cases like this become pointless due to ingame lag compensation.

It seems like CS2's performance will take a severe hit based on what is happening on other parts of the map (even those you do not see) @iamcs2kitchen made a video about culling and it makes sense. It kinda explains the big dips that might occur. This issue might be one of the biggest that valve has to tackle. They seem to be heading to the right direction, so let's see.
CS2 can stutter because the game fails to load user profile images/GIFs (i think its pfp) As soon as the hitch occurs, "Invalid image URL (unknown type) to LoadImageFromURL:" will be printed to the console, and a hitch will appear. I’m confident that you can mitigate this by turning off “Allow Animated Avatars” in the game settings. The telemetry image showing 24ms frametime is an example to just fill the image for twitter. The actual hitch was 17ms and was reproduced 2 more times.

Valve’s performance-related updates have significantly improved my personal experience. I played four deathmatch sessions without teleporting once or having any issues with tick slamming. There wasn’t a single network-related stutter, and the framerate is now stable even in the endgame. All of my network metrics are roughly 95% flat, with no more jitter. I even double checked that I had exitlag closed just to make sure I wasn’t tripping out lol. My build info is now more stable, with only small exceptions at times, but it’s far better than it used to be. A sign of hope
