It’s important to remember that neo-Nazis are marginal and can be defeated. The necessary preconditions for fascism do not exist in this country. Most Australians are decent people, and most aren’t interested in being sold race war by basement dwellers.

in seriousness though, i don't think physical appearance is the sum of one's character, but it's relevant in the sense that they claim white people have divine physiognomy (lol), and those underlying insecurities can help explain how many men fall into this ideology

Does it matter? It depends. I'll take good policy over racial diversity. If the NSW Socialists can deliver on that, while maintaining a safe and responsive space for their few non-white members, then great. If it's just Nazism with tree-hugging, I'm much less enthusiastic.
I've thought a lot about this question a lot, over a long period of time. Sometimes, the more to the left you go, the more beige things become. Take the NSW Greens, who (at least in Sydney) have a little faction of the most vicious racists you could possibly conceive.
