It's election Day here in #Edmonton. Many people don't really consider accessibility an issue when they choose a candidate. They tend to think of it as something that affects "those disabled people". This is your reminder that at some point EVERYONE is disabled, whether by accident, illness, or simply age. It will affect you at some point. If a candidate doesn't do simple things like ensuring captions and Alt text is used on their social media or they don't use accessible locations for meetings, civic engagement and campaigning, then they've already shown accessibility isn't a priority to them.
