12 - Crystal Palace stretched their unbeaten run at home in the Premier League to 12 matches (W6 D6), the longest current unbeaten home run in the competition, and the Eagles’ longest unbeaten run in the top-flight since February-December 1990 (17). Formidable.

It’s Remembrance Sunday and yet @SuttonCouncil hasn’t bothered to fly the Union Flag in Wallington. Any idea why @Bobby_Dean @LibDems? I’ve even previously offered to provide the council with a flag for occasions such as this.

Rhiannon Skye White. Wayne Broadhurst. Gurvinder Johal. The victims of terrible evil. But do you know their names? Do your friends? We mustn’t become desensitised. We must fight to keep society civilised.
Hats off to Sunderland for an amazing display ahead of Rembrance Sunday.
We will remember them.

Allow me to introduce you to this young brilliant mind .. Julian Brown, a 22-year-old inventor from Georgia, is transforming discarded plastic into usable fuel through his groundbreaking project, Plastoline. Using a technique known as microwave pyrolysis, powered entirely by solar energy, Julian’s system heats plastic until it vaporizes, then condenses that vapor into crude oil.. ready to be refined into gasoline, diesel, or even jet fuel. He began developing his own version of this process at just 17, building his first small reactor while still in high school. On October 4, 2025, he successfully powered a 2023 Dodge Scat Pack solely on Plastoline fuel during a live demonstration at a Nissan dealership in Duluth, Georgia. The journey has been anything but easy. Each machine costs thousands to build, and some specialized parts run into the tens of thousands. Still, with the help of grants and relentless determination, Julian has continued to refine his designs. He says tests show his fuel burns cleaner than conventional diesel. Julian has faced ominous challenges beyond engineering.. he’s dealt with cyberattacks and even helicopters hovering near his home… but his focus remains unshaken. You know what happened in Nikolai Tesla’s Work it just disappeared… and he died feeding pigeons. Broke. His mission began years ago when he watched a heartbreaking video of a turtle with a plastic straw lodged in its nose. That moment lit a fire within him. “I see it now as, let’s get it in the world and implemented,” he told WTVM 9. “That’s the whole point of why I started this.” 📸 Photo: Julian Brown / @Naturejab

Earlier I replied to this tweet about West Ham after seeing an internal email that has said poppies are banned from academy shirts this weekend. I’ve since been contacted by the club directly. It turns out it’s written by a new employee, who has misrepresented the club. This was not the case. West Ham have not banned the poppy. Every home fixture, including foundation and academy matches will hold a minute’s silence, and the first team will wear poppies on their shirts and lay wreaths before the game to honour the fallen. Nothing has changed from what they do every year. Fair play to West Ham for clearing it up. See you all tomorrow for Burnley. Bosh⚒️❤️ COYI

I just can’t get past this. Heroic veteran says it wasn’t worth fighting for this. A Britain where plonkers like Adil Ray praise sharia law, illegals get put in 4* hotels, people are locked up for X posts, David Lammy shouts about ‘reparations’.

Good on @NFFC You have done the nation proud ❤️🇬🇧
Nottingham Forest has donated £10,000 to Stephen Crean’s Just Giving Page at the request of Evangelos Marinakis. As well as a complimentary Season ticket for next season, the club have invited him to fly with the squad on a private charter to a Europa League fixture, to stay at the team hotel and watch the game with the Forest delegation in the directors box. Club putting their money where their mouth is and backing their own during such a horrific time. 🌳 ❤️ #nffc
