My friend got over $23,000 in airdrops using this one simple trick. 1) Buy a Gecko.
Two snapshots this week. Can you guess what they are for?

Today we suffered one of the biggest hacks in the history of our project. I say "we" even though only one person was exploited. Even though no one on the team was exploited. Because when you curate your community around collectibles that are truly non fungible, You are choosing a path of lower volume (and higher loyalty). This path means that each incremental NFT stolen is more damaging, not just to the victim but to the entire collective. It isn't THEIR problem alone, it is everyone's problem. To be mitigated together. We've done everything possible to limit the damage, but prevention is ALWAYS more effective. Please share this post, and help us prevent all this pain. You may even be saving someone's life. And while you're at it, ask marketplaces to switch to sell side royalties. When they agree, we can recover millions for scam victims.

It's easy if you've only been around the space for one cycle to call a sector dead, if you've never seen a sector die and then be revived in a way that makes the initial form look like a blip on the chart. Everything that made NFTs special once will make them special again.
As much as the collective old guard of crypto twitter hated NFTs last cycle, there was something pure about them that hasn't been replicated by meme coins in the same way since. The best projects had a collective identity that was annoying to anyone on the outside, but the lack of fractionalization led toward a feeling of ownership that meme coins just don't. Pulling a grail from a mint that you had fight to get into had the same feeling of exhilaration that you see when streamers open an expensive old pack of pokemon cards and find a holo. The community defining what they consider a grail to be (e.g. hoodie punks) doesn't happen the same way with memes. NFTs there's always a better piece in the collection to strive for. Also - the lack of fractionalization that people complained about was one of the key drivers for insane multiples printing (low supply / high demand = recipe for up only). Only a matter of time before NFT szn is back. It's easy if you've only been around the space for one cycle to call a sector dead, if you've never seen a sector die and then be revived in a way that makes the initial form look like a blip on the chart. Everything that made them special once will make them special again. Like any high beta play, just takes a risk on environment to trigger the initial capital influx. Only a matter of time before it happens.

Honestly, I've benefited much more from the knowledge I've gained here. – Insights into growing your X account without disrupting the algorithm – General knowledge about NFTs – Valuable insights from other Geckos into the scene – The market, DLMM and the shitcoin channel are lava – Geckos have the memes AirDrops are just the cherry on the top -> did I missed something?

How many things on this list did you do to prepare? It's never too late to course correct.
Number is going up. But what happens when number goes down and keeps going down? If you want to be prepared for the next crash with additional revenue streams, this thread is for you. 👇

GM. I've been hearing things. Buy the dips!
I refuse to believe that there aren’t at least 3000 decent people in crypto. Even if it takes half a decade to curate them all into one place. We’re almost there.

I believe @genuinearticles and @GalacticGeckoSG community are one of the best examples in web 3 of principled steadfast commitment to build something real. They're also one of the best examples of how moral ethically aligned behavior is a repellant to the scandalous degenerates who exist to extract AND an attractant to the best people in the space. It just takes more time and perseverance than most can endure.
If you found this thread helpful, and would like more of these in the future, let me know! And share with a friend. Clicking the button to share outside of X is particularly helpful for the algo. Did I miss anything important?

Finally, set up all your airdrop wallet addresses with Matrica. More and more projects are adopting Matrica airdrop tech. It is a safer and easier way to manage holder verification for rewards. If you don't enter wallet addresses you WILL miss drops 👇

Which project has the best welcome experience? (other than Geckos, I want to learn about some other projects)
That jpeg bottom signal you were looking for? Messari removed the entire "NFT Projects" section from the Solana map. Every time they release these maps, I report the errors to them, and they say they will fix them, and then we get another map full of errors. So here's some unsolicited advice on quality control, for Messari and other analysts. AI is very powerful these days, just use it! There are many ways you could do this, but here's a quick and dirty way I would sanity check my analysis before publishing. 1. Create a spreadsheet listing every project. 2. Create additional colums for the Sector, Query, and the Result. 3. Use basic spreadsheet logic to generate a list of query strings tailored to each project in each sector. 4. Run all the queries using Grok or your preferred AI agent. 5. Sort the list of outputs (the Result column) and remove all the "No" results from your map. Here's a quick example to illustrate how easy it is. This won't solve the problem of the projects you miss, but people will let you know about those in the replies anyway. Like NFTs. Most of the top projects have been around for over 4 years. We are Solana too and we're not going anywhere.
