This week, the Bitcoin community gathers in Brazil 🇧🇷 for the São Paulo Bitcoin Week, a series of events celebrating open-source development, collaboration, and innovation across Latin America, starting today with the Bitcoin Dev Summit.
We're happy to be a sponsor of both the Bitcoin Dev Summit and @satsconf_, the largest Bitcoin conference in South America.

In July, we put out a call for a Chief Executive Officer, and after a long, thoughtful, and rigorous selection process, we’re excited to share that @ihate1999 has been appointed as the new CEO of Btrust.
Abubakar will be stepping down from his position on the Board to take on this full-time role, where he will report directly to the Btrust Board.
His appointment marks an important new chapter for Btrust as we continue our mission to strengthen and support open-source development across Africa and beyond.
This is a three-year term, with the possibility of renewal by a subsequent board for one additional three-year period.

Nigerian developers are reimagining how the church and technology can work together, creating tools that go beyond answering doctrinal questions to solving real-time challenges during services.
One of them, @darasoba , built @pewbeam_ai , a tool that automatically displays Bible verses as the pastor preaches, based on their words or paraphrases. It was first tested last month at @cci_ibadan , with plans for wider rollout.

I am super pumped to share that last month, @chowdeck hit over 1 million orders in Nigeria in a single month! 🚀
The past few weeks hasn't been perfect. We have had some tough moments with support and operations. But we are listening, learning, and fixing things quickly.
Our daily order volumes in Nigeria has grown from an average of ~30K daily orders a few weeks ago to over 40K daily orders presently and still increasing day on day.
To everyone who’s shown us patience, trust, and continued support, thank you.
This milestone reminds us of what is possible when people believe in what we’re building.
Cheers to 1M orders! It’s still Day 1, and there are many more wins to come.

I built an AI Agent that takes the URL of any API documentation, reads the entire webpage autonomously, generates embeddings for the content, and stores them in a vector database.
It exposes:
- an endpoint for similarity search (great for RAG)
- an endpoint that generates a Postman Collection on the fly
In the demo below, I’m exposing this agent as an MCP server and using it in @getpostman's Agent Mode to fetch external context for an API. Works really great!

This was built using @OpenAI's Computer Use and gpt-4o-mini models, Playwright, and pgvector.
