The only guys (friends not my dates) I’ve met who’ve had many matches on apps for the purpose of a real relationship have SOME if not all of these qualities:
- 6’+
- 6 figure career (finance, surgeon, MD, engineer)
- Ivy League/Top Public School
- STEM/Business degree
- nth percentile in fitness
- nth percentile speaking/social/dating skills
And even then they didn’t like it.
I had a date with a son of an ambassador, old money, multiple Ivy League degrees and we had a good convo but he revealed he hated the apps too.
I have this guy friend who's been on about 60 app dates. Good looking guy. Fit, Athletic, also an engineer.
His app dates include literal beauty Queens.
Despite a lot of high quality dates, he didn't like the experience.
A man could be in the top percentage on dating apps and still not like it. Dating apps are just not as good as they're made out to be.
