Haqqani sb, it would be invaluable if you could write an article on the current situation, outlining the key dynamics and how Pakistan should strategically navigate through them.

How in god's name do you survive in that country, literally the only person who actually speaks sense.. also probably the only Pakistani who doesn't hold bigoted hate against Indians. I can understand hating f govts, like i do the military junta of Pak, but why hate common people

There’s no denying you were right all along. The question now is: what’s the way forward? Religious actors in Pakistan watched Afghanistan’s fall not as a warning, but as validation. Until faith is separated from power, history will keep repeating itself.

When that happened, delusional Pakistani cowards were celebrating at the thought of the Afghans delivering them Kashmir while they watched eating beef burgers 😂😂 One ISI clown even went to Kabul and posed with a cup of tea. He is now in a Pakistani jail.

Pak Generals ( who misled their gullible countrymen) don't understand that the Frontier-areas ethno-religious insurgency has been going on for 500+ yrs. Doesn't matter what regime exists.

Pakistan had little to do with Taliban victory, US barbaric invasion, greed and incompetence did, and the exit on the cheap after destroying everything. Where is your critique of the US? The US trained military fell in quickly as expected because it was a colonial implant. This current skirmish is the fault of Pakistan violating international law by bombing Kabul and the Kabul government responding to it to save face, just as Pakistan would have done in case of attack. The Taliban were a positive development for Afghanistan post "Mujahideen" barbarism of US/ISI.

My dear Pakistanis the sooner you realise this is your fight, your survival, and your country alone, the better for you. People will call your victory a “collective” win, but no one will come to fight by your side. This is a bitter truth swallow it, and remember the names and faces of those who are criticising you now. We are better than all of them . ♥️ 🇵🇰 For you, faith and Allah alone is enough.

Only if the establishment could listen to its intellectuals. The entire establishment which cheers up when US provides aide and weapons to Pak, suddenly backstabbed the same US and cheered for Taliban. Some even wanted Taliban to rule Pak, now they’ve got TTP.

As long as Pakistan's policy regarding Afghanistan is led by generals ,things are expected to deteriorate. For me , this insurgency can be contained with the help of the locals but unfortunately there is a severe lack of mistrust between state and society.

Also India would not have launched wide spread attacks on Pakistani airbases if US was still in Afghanistan.. I had warned many Pakistanis that India might be emboldened by US departure from Afghanistan

Pakistan habituated to shooting itself in the foot never heeded sane advise. Its ideological indoctrination and leanings crippled its ability to think and act rationally. Never understood that using tools of violence did not aid diplomacy. Caught between a rock and hard place.

Ghani was also no friends of ours, solution is to make Afghanistan our 5th province or to impose non pashtun government, we had this opportunity after fall of USSR but stupid generals chose Hikmatyar and then Talibs over Ahmed Shah Masood and Rabbani
